Saturday dinner at 8pm Food was above average, our order was serviced in good time. Service was very laid back and casual; staff seemed dis-interested in their job. The place was quite busy being a Saturday nite. People were still lining up outside when we left at 10pm, so I guess it’s popular. Decor and ambiance was average; water dripping from overhead near kitchen entrance making it a trip hazard. A bucket was kept underneath which added to the eye sore factor.

Didn't expect much given the location in the CBD but the food was really yummy especially the veggie dishes. Highly recommended for a low-key, no-frill meal out.

Very poor customer service, rude attitude. Walked in on a rainy day, staff asked umbrella to be left outside with no container or bucket provided to put it in. Outside is the main street and anyone can just walk off with it. Anyway that was just the beginning, we had a booking for 4 people, restaurant was pretty much empty when we came in, but we got seated right in front of the main entrance where people walk in and out. There were many other seats available to the back, but waiter tells us ‘it’s booked for a private function’. Meanwhile we notice several other customers who came in later with no bookings being taken to seats further back into the restaurant!! Food may be ok, nothing to write home about, but will not be going back again after the service we received !!

Had a great meal with a few mates. The place is low key in terms of atmosphere but based on the number of Indian customers already seated and smells from the kitchen the first impression was good. between 4 people ordered 2 tandoori meat platters (bone in chicken, bone less chicken, kebab), 5 curries (the Goat Bhuna was excellent and Chicken Tikka was very good), 6 naan (peshwari coconut was quality) and rice. Ate a massive feast and left very satisfied. The serving size of curries were decent but the naan could have been a bit bigger and generous but still tasted fine. The service was friendly and efficient. Food was serviced quick too. Very good meal and would come back again.

As soon as you enter the floor is very slippery so be careful. We had a table for 12 people, service staff had no idea about how much food will there be in a plate, quality of food was ok. This place lacks consistency in quality and quantity when it comes to food and service. Sometimes it could be good and sometimes it’s very bad.
