so sad, empty, no music, no wine list, food basic, did not realise this iconic restaurant had changed hands

dined on Fri, 11 Aug 2017

They had no red wines available from the menu, but instead only had another bottle from 2003 as an option., which we accepted begrudgingly. They said they are going through change of menu for the wine list, so that's why they didn't have any in the wine list available. Pretty disappointing. Food was pretty good though so made up for it. Was very quiet for a Friday night, so not much atmosphere. Would visit again however.

Nice atmosphere, great service and good food

The restaurant has changed hands as of a year ago and is undergoing renovations so atmosphere wise it wasn't e best, but the food is still wonderful and with generous serves. They were doing a good trade in takeaways so hopefully they'll get their dine in chops up to speed to attract more sit down customers. Their besan coated fish entree was especially good!

Food was nice but was expecting it to be more of a restaraunt feel which was disappointing. Place had a bit of a dirty feel
