Great service and lovely food. I will definitely come back
Great food and service. Was a little loud with music and people noise - but that could be everyone is out now Covid-19 is over. Would definitely go back.
John, Sam & all the District Brasserie floor staff have created a fantastic restaurant in the lobby of Chifley Tower. Well done guys. Thank you. Mark
The steak frites is an excellent lunch. With a glass of red wine it was special. I can highly recommend. Very good service. Nice atmosphere. Grab
Amazing food and atmosphere!!!
This is an excellent restaurant- especially for a business lunch as I had. The Bannockburn Chicken dish was excellent and with a green salad and a glass of wine - excellent.
Great for a business lunch
Can always count on District for a great steak to share with great company.
Great food and consistent service
Great venue for a city catch up with a girlfriend. Really liked the range of food and the service was very attentive. The atmosphere added to the enjoyable afternoon.
First time and very good surprise. Service is professional and friendly. Good quality of food and nice presentation. We also liked the atmosphere like 'bistrot'
The food was delicious!
I have had drinks at District often....when I needed to host a lunch for 3 work colleagues, I thought I would come for a meal. From the pleasant welcome to the food choices and overall service, we had an excellent time. Great menu with an obvious European structure, well presented and very tasty. I had the Bannockburn chicken. The others had the steak frite and a pasta with whole prawns. All reasonably priced. Good wine selection. Highly recommended.
The food, service and atmosphere were perfect. Scott, John and co. were attentive and epitomised the ideal service you want when dining out. Will definitely be returning!
Another awesome dining experience! Great service and brilliant food. The charcuterie was very good. As usual we reserve our favourite Cote de boeuf . Cooked medium rare it was the highlight of our dinner. Duck confit was delicious the skin was crispy and meat tender. Both desserts were delicious as well.
Great place with great food but quite noisy. Not the best place for a chat while you eat. Service was really good.
Great location, great food
Service’s great! Pasta and steak were good with fantastic coffees. Wines were good, too. Aside from a little bit noisy for intimate conversations, the restaurant certainly is a good option for those who enjoy good food and coffees. Will definitely revisit!
Steak Frites and king crab pasta are all very tasty. The wine list's also well thought thru with one of the best piccolos in the city. Service's just right. Aside from being abit noisy and the pricing is abit on the high side, it's a rather wonderful experience!
Nice interior and seating.
Chifley Square, 2000, Sydney (NSW), Australia
Chifley’s District Brasserie is an excellent contribution to Sydney city’s dining scene with a new, European-style venue that achieves a sophisticated yet casual elegance.
District is open for BREAKFAST, LUNCH and DINNER - Monday to Friday, with rumours that the team will be opening on Saturday evenings for full dinner and bar service, in the near future.
Take advantage of District’s complimentary parking from 6pm daily ! Join the family in town for a beautiful dinner or pop in for some drinks before or after your CBD shopping. District also caters for children with quality and healthy ingredients.
Open from morning until late, District’s modern Australian menu has the twist of French savours, that the word “brasserie” might suggest. In true Parisian style, takeaway Single O espresso and fresh breakfast pastries from its own on-site organic bakery are available through the lobby espresso bar, while a mouthwatering and accessible menu is available all day from the table-service restaurant.
Former Public Dining/est. chef Mark Knox and ex La Rennaissance patisserie chef Jason Hillier have come up with a long list of delights, from a breakfast of Ora king salmon with poached egg, green tahini, crispy quinoa and kelp salt, through to lunches of steamed hapuka with button mushroom, warrigal greens, clams, mussels & lemon grass.
The unique offering, though, is the charred meat cooked on a special charcoal oven imported from Europe. Among the share plates are an 800-gram Jack’s Creek côte de boeuf with leaf salad, triple-cooked chips, horseradish and béarnaise sauce. So dedicated is the team to a higher level of quality and flavour that it’s even particular about the oven’s charcoal, which is secretly sourced and comes from fresh water mangrove trees.
