Food was really good, paid top dollar for the rib eye fillet and it was worth every cent! Kids meals were really good too. Will definitely eat there again

Food was great. customer service left a little to be desired. Firstly our table was not ready at our scheduled booking time of 7pm. Staff were abrupt and not friendly tried to tell us we were booked at 7:30. Email confirmation said otherwise. we wanted to run a tab for our table (work function) and was asked to provide a card. We did not have a problem with this thinking that the card details would be swiped through the machine and the card would be returned to us but they wanted to keep the card. Was not comfortable leaving my credit card in the hands of staff. When I voiced my opinion staff were again abrupt and stated that "I should not worry, they will take care of my card" very condescending never saw a smile on any staff members face

Quite crowded so a bit noisy. Still ok though. The food was good for the price. This is a go to place for an informal gathering. Easy to order and everyone settles their own bill at time of ordering which makes it easy for a group

If going for Sunday lunch, leave extra time to find a carpark and be prepared for noise because this is a very popular spot! We were greeted and seated quickly and only had a short wait to place our order at the bar, though there was a queue building up as only one person was on the register taking orders. Our food came in good time. The onion rings are probably some of the best we've had - crispy and full of flavour. Three of our meals were excellent - the spiced duck, buffalo chicken burger and fungi pizza. One dish was quite disappointing - my husband ordered the wagyu rump steak medium rare. He was served two thin slices of steak (approx 1 cm thick) one cooked through and the other slightly pink, tasting the same as a steak you'd get from Coles or Woolies. The market salad consisted of a pile of lettuce with a slice of radish, drizzled in some sort of non-descript oil/vinegar? dressing. He did enjoy the mashed potatoes though. We also struggled at times to hear each other as it was packed and noisy. We'd go back but at a different day/time and probably skipping the steaks.

Great pub. Good size meals but not too big. Not noisy despite the full house. Friendly staff. I’d definitely recommend and I’ll be back.

Food was great but felt the service was light on. We ended up ordering our own drinks etc and food at the bar - that’s ok if that’s the process but no signage to advise (unless I missed it on the menu?).

Great local pub and the food is decent, The bar staff are a little aloof though - you are there to serve the customers, not just to look good. That means smiling a bit when you take orders and say thank you

The ambience of the establishment is lovely: extremely inviting and cosy. The food was very nice, though a bit pricey comparatively. While acknowledging the restaurant was quite busy, we waited over an hour for our food - which then cooled rapidly while waiting for others' meals to arrive. The avocado served with the salmon was well past its' prime though other guests all enjoyed their meals. A little disappointing overall. Moral of the story: go elsewhere if you are not wanting to spend two hours over lunch.

Best steak I’ve had in a long time. Perfectly cooked to order. Sauce delicious. Mash and salad perfect accompaniments. Warm fire. Excellent service.

I needed a quiet spot to bring my elderly mother for lunch, and this did not disappoint. Cosy, warm and nice to be able to hear each other. Lovely food and friendly staff. Will be back.

Hadn't been to the Earl for a few years and was pleasantly surprised by the updated decor. The staff were super friendly and we were impressed by the range and quality of the food. Will definitely return sooner rather than later.

We are regulars and I always order the croquet for entree, they were not cooked internally, pastry, mushy. The battered fish was like warm, the batter soggy, not enjoyable. Very very disappointed. Did not stay for dessert.

The general ambience of the dining room was impressive. It was quiet and comfortable on a wet windy evening. The food was contemporary and a wide choice offered. Great wine list.

Table had to wait 10mins for wine glasses At the start And when the table followed up with staff, the staff were a bit rude in their response. There seemed to be an overall shortage of wine glasses. When asked staff about Possibility of dessert it was close to kitchen closing time. It would have been good to receive a warning about the kitchen closing soon.
