The group ordered the Tasting Meal. The starters were great. The meat was the unexpected failure. Mixes results across the table. Two individuals had meat was not tender and the knife was not sharp enough to cut through; was cooked medium rare ( was cooked with correct temp). 3rd has medium rare and was tender. 4th had medium and was the best cooked. However the layer of fat on all the meat was not appealing. The dessert has a brownie disappointing as well, no one finished because it was not good. Overall was ok, not great.
Steak portions were too small for the price, or if that price should have come with a side of French fries or vegetables.
What a remarkable restaurant. A beautiful atmosphere - almost a speakeasy fancy steakhouse. My husband unfortunately likes his steaks well done so I've never heard him give great credit to any steak. He openly said it was the best steak he has ever had. I'd say it was in my top 10. I got the scotch fillet, at the table we had the rump, briskett, and my husband had the hanger. We were all incredibly impressed!! I cannot recommend this place enough.
Really juicy and quality meat! Enjoyed every dish there Friendly staff and food was served relatively quickly. I strongly recommend Wagyu Rump Steak!
The fit-out for this restaurant is fabulous. The service was friendly and attentive. Not let's talk about the food. Some of the dishes were delicious such as the gnocchi and deserts, however, they were not generous with their portions of food. In fact the opposite. And these COVID times how disappointing is that. The meat was not as tender as we had expected. Most patrons I believe prefer to have their meat placed on a plate and not be cut up for us. We left the restaurant hungry which is disappointing. Would I return? No not for the prices they charge.
Beautiful venue and atmosphere. Great to hang out with friends or for a date night. Great menu and wine selection (and loved the peach based cocktail).
The staff and food here are both superb making any meal here one to remember. The steaks are well cooked with the meat being well sourced and both kitchen and floor staff excel in getting tasty dishes to the tables.
Great service and loved the ambience. Our waiter was very personable and did everything to accommodate our group. All in all a great night. Would go again.
Went here for our 12 year anniversary. Great food. Friendly staff. The waiter did warn us that there may be a long wait for our main because we ordered the big Dry aged Angus Rib. Worth the wait. Ordered a starter and a cocktail while waiting. We weren't really fussed on the price because it was our anniversary so we were willing to spend. But if you're a little tight on budget, it might be a little expensive. The only con i have is the pork belly, the skin wasn't crispy so it felt a little mushy with all the fattiness.
Amazing food and service. Every single plate of food was perfectly delicious. The only small thing that detracted from this was that the portion of the main serving for brisket was a bit small and left me wanting more because it was so damn good. I will definitely eat here again.
Absolutely impeccable service. We were warmly greeted and the chef even came to our table to welcome us and to discuss our meal with us. The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.
Everything was superb with our dining experience, the food and service was phenomenal. the only reason i did not rate excellent is that the steaks were all charged a higher price than featured on the menu, and this was not clarified with us at point in time or at time of paying the bill. An additional cocktail order also was charged which we did not order.

We have ordered medium rare on both the striploin and scotch fillet steak, both are below average, they are chewy with too much tendon. We provided the feedback back to the manager on the floor, the chef came out told us we shouldn’t order medium rare (that’s the excuse from the chef why the meat is chewy). My feelings are they aren’t concern about the experience and feeling of their customers, too much justification instead of listening. Not going to re-visit this place again; once is enough
The dry age ribs were amazing - can see why it's their signature dish! Sides were a bit expensive for the small portion size and the lighting is a bit dark. Staff were friendly
Great service and so happy to have been able to make a booking a few hours beforehand for a group. Drinks were great and service was timely. Ambience was great too! Would consider coming back.
Extremely slow service, we waited over forty minutes for entrees and over an hour after that for our mains and there were hardly any people at the restaurant. Steaks were good, not exceptional, drinks were pretty average too. Starters however were delicious and the ambience was very nice too.
