We were three friends celebrating a birthday. We had the most amazing lunch, wine, service and views! Presentation of food was beautiful and the thoughtful touch of the candle and happy birthday writing on dessert plate was nice! Can’t wait to return and try some other dishes!
We were delighted with our meal. We were greeted very cordially and the initial service was very attentive. We had a quail and salmon entree that were lovely and the most delicious lamb and steak mains that we have had for a long while! Just a few minor issues that were a bit below the general high level of service. After a palate cleanser no-one came back to ask if we would like another drink or desert (although we didn’t) and the bok Choy side dish as the only “greens’’ just didn’t work. However, we would definitely come back if we returned to Katoomba!
Amazing view and atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was very good as well. My partner and I had a 3 course meal. I tried the Thai curry gnocchi, which was an unusual taste. However, my partner very much enjoyed the steak. Overall a great experience. I would definitely recommend!
The food was excellent with a good choice of dishes of the menu. My family had the three course meal to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday . The staff were friendly and service very efficient . The atmosphere and the panoramic views were stunning . Highly recommend it and we will be back.
Confused. Beautiful balconies with stunning views and only allowed to sit at the fully closed off part with no ventilation. Food is average and didn’t meet expectations. Complimentary bread though is amazing. Wine list is ok. Appreciated being offered a taste before deciding on a bottle. Go for the view - especially sunset - and enjoy a cocktail on the deck.
We took a chance in dining here, having booked online. But everything was well beyond expectations. The food, service and ambience were all excellent (world class), The view from the table was amazing. We will definitely come back again. A great experience.
I could not recommend this place more the food the atmosphere and the veiw was out of this world. The service was absolutely awesome and there was not much time between ordering and eating.
Stunning views and great food. Great experience to have a meal there, the staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is well cooked, full of flavours and great presentation. It’s definitely worth going
My third visit to this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food. Will definitely be back for a fourth visit!
Everything was fantastic. Could not fault food or service.
Food is good, views amazing. The only thing is that we finished lunch and they came to say we had to leave as someone has to park the car in our place ???? that's not nice and not good customer service at all, for a place like that you don't expect something like this. They came even with the bill already when we hadn't asked yet.
Really impressed with the ambience and views of the restaurant very cosy and intimate for our 10 yr wedding anniversary lunch. The staff was also considerate and welcoming with our two young children. We were seated in a corner with a view of blue mountains away from others which is great as I'm expecting and it helps with being covid-19 safe. Food was good with my hubbys steak cooked to perfection, however the trout was a bit bland. Also i think it would be a plus if more seafood was added to the mains menu. Otherwise a love experience and would def come again. Service was exceptional and staff took so many photos for us which is very much appreciated. They also remembered our anniversary and wrote that message on our dessert which is so lovely.
Beautiful views with a delicious menu, for mains I loved the ocean trout and the truffle fries!! The potato mushroom soup and scallops were so delicious the perfect entree!! Thank you for a very memorable experience
Food was ok, had requested a table near the windows but it wasn’t to be this time .
Staff were very attentive. I know it’s COVID but I had booked. We were taken to a dark dingy corner yet the next couple to arrive, having complained, were provided with a prime window location. ... is it really necessary to complain to get a desirable table?? Should have checked the menu beforehand - we’re not fans of everything soy based... but the broth was delicious.
Every dish we ordered was beautiful. The staff were pleasant and efficient and the ambience was pleasant with great jazz music softly in the background. A great place for a special dinner.
Excellent in every respect: food, service, courtesy. Roberto, the head waiter, remembered us from twelve months ago!! I practised my Tagalog with him and another waiter. The staff were all superb. Will definitely go back.
Bitterly cold night so chilly sitting by a window. Staff were attentive- food quite good rather than great. We both had tenderloin steak main. Sauce needs improving. More like a dribble of thin gravy on it. Steak was flavoursome but not as tender as it could have been for $55(!) Overall good meal but not sure we’d return to eat there.
Staff friendly and welcoming 2 courses each with shared dessert Ambience very nice Potato undercooked trout beautiful lamb rack chewy Wine be the glass. Empty glasses left on the table when another ordered. Maybe over critical but when $300 for 2 diners I expect things to be good . A little overpriced for what was on offer.
Great service, good food and good atmosphere highly recommend
