From the moment we walked thru the door the friendliness & professionalism of the staff shone thru. Each dish was like a work of art. They take pride in their service & product. The manager/owner , Tony, was there for perfect customer service. It is a definite re-visit & I have already been talking them up ro my networks.

The atmosphere is fantastic, especially with the belly-dancing on Friday and Saturday nights. The food is delicious and the service is outstanding.

Good food. Very loud when the dancers came out and how the tables are set can make some feel uncomfortable while the dance is occurring.

LUNCHTIME BOOKING Some sensitivity to individual customers is required along with a ramping up of overall friendliness and more of a genuine welcome towards a customer who enters the restaurant and has gone to the trouble of booking online. The website should state that you will be ushered out of the restaurant dead on 3 pm. or perhaps a text message sent beforehand! This was embarrassing for me as my guest was from the UK and is not used to this. I chose this restaurant because I had been there for dinner with my Lebanese husband and relations on many occasions and I felt I could give my guest an unforgettable experience of Middle Eastern food and hospitality. What occurred was a whole different experience. Much can be learnt from the demeanour of the guy behind the bar. Friendly, vigilant, helpful and enthusiastic. Sorry Guys ! it was not what I expected because I had seen something quite different over the last 10 years. However, the food was spectacular.but you did nothing to make the occasion special.

About El-Phoenician Parramatta

Eat like a king! At the heart of Parramatta’s famed ‘Eat Street’ resides the original El-Phoenician. This award winning restaurant offers a relaxed ambiance during the week and a vibrant atmosphere on the weekend when the large white dressed tables are filled with hungry diners and the dining room echoing with laughter and music. Sleek and contemporary, this venue is perfect for intimate date nights, family meals or friendly catch ups - they even do private dining options and events! The menu is a decadent Lebanese spread, designed to embody the rich ancestry of Phoenicia. With a selection of traditional mezza, smoky char grilled meats and an array of delectable seafood you’re in for a sensational feast! Go for the Byblos banquet which is well priced and very, very delicious. Best dish: sambousik - minced lamb, pine nuts and onion wrapped in fine pastry!
