Good and friendly service. Sharing plates was great as we got to taste different dishes.
Tasty food and great stuff.
Delicious breakfast out on the deck overlooking the winery... couldn’t get better than that and not a scrap of food left on our plates! Will continue to visit this gem
Food very generous serves Presentation very good Service attentive, friendly and knew the menu Delicious We had a very enjoyable lunch here thank you ??
Food and service are nice and pleasant. Portion size of main dishes is reasonable at the price (mostly $36 per dish). Settings can be improved - no table cloth, etc. during our lunch visit and seatings are comfortable for family or casual gathering. Does not take AMEX for payment.
Food was generally good but dishes were hit and miss. Pork and fish was delicious. The pasta was overpriced for average, non-handmade pasta.
Excellent service and cuisine
Great view, good food.. will go back again!
We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Emerson’s, would recommend the avocado on toast with yummy local feta and the milkshakes were good too.
Food was good, coffee was a let down
Good breakfast and a great setting to take on the surrounding views
Beautiful food and friendly staff. Generous portions made the experience more affordable. Sit outside and enjoy the view.
Beautiful location in the Hunter Valley. Not a huge selection for breakfast but something for everyone and very well executed. Lovely service.
Great spot out on the deck for the whole family, food was fine dining quality in a relaxed atmosphere. Great service as always and were very accommodating with my wife's vegetarian request. Been before and we'll be back again!

Wining and dining
Few restaurants are as perfectly situated as the gorgeous Emerson’s Café and Restaurant. Located in the heart of the Hunter Valley, surrounded by acres of vineyards, this charming establishment is one of the best places to go in the area for a beautiful meal in a beautiful setting. Go for lunch and ask for a table out on the verandah so you can embrace the full experience of an alfresco meal. Order up some lovely wine (you’re in the Hunter Valley, after all) then tuck into some of chef Emerson Rodriguez’s divine creations. Nibble on some spiced pumpkin fritters that come with a mint yoghurt dipping sauce, twirl your way through a bowl of fresh seafood spaghettini with garlic and chilli or dig right into some slow cooked lamb shoulder with orecchiette and spinach. If you have the time (and the appetite) you should definitely consider trying the chef’s degustation menu. While lunch sittings make the most of the beautiful outdoor setting, breakfast and dinner at Emerson’s are just as good.
Best dish: venison carpaccio
