I just wanted to say what a great experience we had today. We booked there because of the playground, and it was an excellent and thoughtful addition to the hotel. The food was excellent. Fresh chicken parmigiana and the roast was by far the best meat I’ve had at any hotel/cafe in a very very long time. The only thing that could have made me enjoy it more would have been a veggie bake instead of steamed veg (no one does that anymore though). The meal sizes were generous. Service was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised at how great our dining experience was today - Thankyou!

Staff super friendly, ordered risotto (huge serve) and steak, not bad. Dining room a bit daggy, if you want a bit of an ambiance book at the lightsview bar, couple of small tables, rest are high tables but this is where I will book next time.

Food was lovely, great feed. When asking to change tables got a bit confusing as we didn't wish to sit near the kids play area but staff were accommodating and friendly.

 This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide range of beers & wonderful dessert. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again

I had the seafood duo, piece of battered fish & salt & pepper squid. The batter was lovely & crisp. The squid was so tender, crumbs beautifully crisp & the chips were crunchy. Delicious meal. Staff were super friendly & helpful

The ambience of the restaurant was noisy with children playing in the games room , but when they went quiet it was really nice and enjoyable.. Overall the dining out was very nice thank you to the staff that was working Sunday evening .

Had an ok beef schnitzel it came with salad which was dry like it had been sitting on the plate for a while and no salad dressing. Service was great, staff are always lovely.

The Hotel was well attended for a Wednesday afternoon. Service was prompt. The garlic prawns were adequate and the burger was as well, however the chips were soft and not up to a high standard.

Staff were lovely. We made a reservation in the dining room but asked to be moved to the front bar, as we prefer the atmosphere in there more. There was absolutely no problem with us being moved. Meals were lovely and wait time was minimal. Going back next weekend.

Staff are always welcoming, accommodating and friendly. They had a little pack to entertain the kids, helpful as the playground is closed due to restrictions. Main meals were delicious and a generous size. In my opinion the kids pizza meal could be improved by making it in house and adding an option of less chips and a simple salad eg cucumber, cherry tomatoes, spinach. We will be coming back for the adult meals.

The staff are friendly and the food is always delicious. Even with a limited menu there is plenty to choose from including vegan/vegetarian. Happy we can eat here again!
