Fabulous
We did not get a chance to review or taste the food, as we were seated with water for 25mins, and during this time were not offered or spoken too via the many waiters that walked by for even our drinks order nor did someone come and ask for our food order, we walked out. disgusted, Rang another restaurant down the road and had an amazing dinner,
Our family group of 8 all loved our dining experience at Eremo. The food, atmosphere and service were all excellent. Each dish was delicious and the flavors were all so well balanced....highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to return.
High quality modern Italian food with a wine list to match and friendly service. .....................................................
Food was ok. I had the breakfast gnocchi, and my partner had the crepes. The portion size was good, but both dishes were somewhat overcooked. For the price, I expected better quality.
the evening started with a genuine welcome, a drink at the friendly bar, followed by a fantastic dinner with excellent local wine. a follow up is required to enjoy the views and possibly a sunset. the restaurant is well designed and menu is tantalizing. another great choice in Hunter Valley’s Pokolbin
Simply amazing, wish we went back again tonight, food, service atmosphere was outstanding.
great Italian food and attentive professional service
Wonderful night delicious food and service great ambiance.
The service was a little slow by the time we got to dessert - which was surprising as the restaurant was almost empty at this stage. I think the main I chose took a long time to cook but we weren’t warned it would take a while. Although we were waiting a while it wasn’t a huge negative as the overall atmosphere and quality of food was exceptional.
My partner and I came here for dinner the other week. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Definately will be returning on our next trip to the Hunter.
My husband and I both had a pasta dish and we both thought the serving size could have been larger. We would not have been satisfied with the portion size had we not ate a late lunch. My son had the kids serve of pasta which was much cheaper and larger than our main serve.
Amazing food & service
One dish was poor but was removed from bill upon complaint - so good response
I would have given a higher rating but they brought me the wrong dish. They take orders by memory - I ordered vegetarian pasta and they brought out a meat dish. It was the only issue and they took the cost of the meal off the bill. Apart from that it was very enjoyable - wines were great and the food was innovative.
The music in the restaurant itself was too loud to talk over and was not really appropriate 'dinner' music (plus I think the fact that the stereo it was playing from was not great so it sounded awful. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my music. But the choice on the night was terrible. We quietly mentioned this to the waiters who very happily accommodated our party to the private dining room where we had a very nice evening. Fabulous actually. We will be back for sure.
Lovely venue.friendly staff
The vegetarian offering was disappointing - gnocchi or pizza - the pizza was potato, cheese and rosemary (very uninspiring) and was too much for me to eat. When I requested a box to take-away half the pizza I'd not eaten, the waitress explained they only offer that service to guests staying in the apartments. We were staying in another group of apartments down the road and eRemo was one of the only restaurants open on a Tuesday which is why we ended up there. We eventually managed to persuade the waitress to give us a box but thought the policy was silly (she said it was to do with health and safety) as it was one rule for apartment guests and one rule for visitors. The aim of the request was not to waste food so they get a 0/10 from me from an environmental point of view.
Had a lovely lunch experience to celebrate Father's Day, we had a table on the veranda looking at the amazing view. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic.
Great atmosphere and service. Beautiful bread and olives to start - a highlight. Found the menu had a bit too much Gorgonzola. The pork was ok but the cheese broth maybe had Gorgonzola in it which I’m not a fan of. Crispy potatoes on the side were lovely and dessert was nice. Mains were very expensive at almost $50.
We were impressed with the food but what blew us away was the service. Very thoughtful and accomodating staff. Thank you!
