Food was excellent. Nice ambience, good service

Although we were the only guests this evening, it was a fantastic experience. The tiger prawns as starter were delicious. Then we got a fish cataplan which we enjoyed enormously. The chocolate mouse was not the best we had, but that didn’t spoil the diner at all. Really a place to go !

The food is good, we had several starters and 3 main dishes. The oysters are really good but I found shells chips, something that cannot happen. Mentioned that to the waitress and didn’t get any feedback from the kitchen.

Superb food stylishly presented on the plate. Advice sought and helpfully given by courteous and friendly staff. A gem of a restaurant.

This was our second Christmas lunch here & was equally as good as the one last year, the food, service & atmosphere were all excellent, a rare thing to find a good restaurant that is open on Christmas Day!! Well done guys, we loved the lunch & will be back again as soon as we can.

Pleasant little restaurant. Unfortunately apart from vegetable soup the starters are fish or cheese based which when you eat neither is restricting. But the rest of the meal was excellent. Definitely one to go back to.

We have eaten here a number of times before. We try a different dish on the menu every time. We have always been very satisfied with the food and the service.

Disappointing choice of starter if you don’t eat fish. The quality of the food was excellent & the service friendly & efficient. It’s definitely a place to return to.

The service was a little on the slow side and the ambience can get a little loud but the food was definitely worth it. The prices seemed more than fair for the quality that you get. Must try!

A superb restaurant in the sleepy village of Vila Nova de Cacela.

An interesting menu, well cooked and presented food and a warm and professional welcome. The ambience and decor are also just right. Most Portuguese restaurants are cold in the winter, this was warm and comfortable. looking forward to our next visit.
