Went for an early dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pasta and the freshness. The pasta was cooked aldente and portion sizes were good. We had a kitchen salad and margherita pizza too which were also really good. The young lady who served us was very helpful and also let us know it was happy hour! We'll be back.
Very good quality pasta in a casual atmosphere. Great for kids
We enjoyed the freshly made pasta and enjoyed the kitchen salad, though they left out the olives until we reminded them that they should be included. We found the pizza a bit tough but overall it was a nice meal.
I loved the dish. Pity it was so quiet
Very good food and staff is also very good.
Didn't like the order at the counter process, and the tables were vert packed together. Food was good however.
Expensive for what looks like a chain but food was good.
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G Some of the best pasta I've ever had and so worth the visit. Great value for money too. Friendly staff :)
Food was yummy but it wasn’t warm enough and it was quite sloppy presentation when it’s suppose to be fresh pasta
Good tasty fresh pasta but a bit quiet at the restaurant. They should promote it so that there are more people coming through which would add to the ambience of the place
Great quick lunch and the food was very nice and generous.
Very average pasta and underwhelming service. Came here for a work lunch and they were able to serve our group relatively quickly so, that's a positive. Other than that, wouldn't go if you're looking for a nice pasta.
Good pasta and good service :)
The pasta is the best. Really fresh and generous servings. It's a bit of a take care of yourself situation in the sense that other than delivering the food to your table, there is no other table service e.g. you have to set your own table and order in the take away line. Only a minor setback really. If there was table service, it would be almost perfect.
delish food, however it would be best if the staff came to the table to order the food
Quick but good quality pasta in a fast-food like setting. Wouldn't be going here for a special occasion but it definitely has it's role for an easy lunch.
Pastas are good and lots of choices, would definitely come back again to try the other options!
All 3 of us got dishes within 8 minutes. The pasta was not cooked enough, all the dishes tastes like uncooked flour or wheat or whatever grain. The sauce and pasta didn't go well. My friend got a dish where the sauce was somehow sour. Even one of my friend left the whole dish. The price is affordable and the staffs were friendly, but it worths nothing when the foods are terrible. We all told each other that we would never come back to this place.
Pasta was alittle undercooked but really cant complain with the freshness and speed
A little too much sauce on our pastas, made the dish a little soupy and very salty The music a little too loud, couldn't hear each other across the table (perhaps this is just where we sat)

Given the popularity of our pasta bar, we can only hold lunch bookings for 15 minutes.
At Etto it all starts with fresh pasta - we make it in the restaurant each day. Choose from a range of our delicious sauces, pick a fresh pasta to match and add a side of garlic bread, truffle and parmesan chips or one of our fresh salads. We’re open for lunch and dinner, dine-in, take away and delivery. We've been voted as one of Melbourne's 'Best Pasta Places’ by Broadsheet and Urban List and in the Good Food Guides 'Best Meals under $30' every year since we opened.
