We had an absolutely delicious meal which was incredibly reasonably priced. We will definitely be back for more. Great, friendly service and ability to BYO if preferred. The decor was probably the only thing I would say could do with a rethink but, who cares when the food is this tasty.

Food very good, but service was terrible. Waitress’s English not very good so she didn’t really understand the order. She spilled the sauce of the chicken onto the table and then wiped the side of the dish with a serviette. She also touched the top of the drinking straw with her hand. As I said the food is good but they needed get more experienced staff.

The food was great. The service was good but the place was half empty and left the mood quite strained. Also we had issues with the heat/cold inside the place....but the food ....impeccable!!!

This restaurant did not disappoint! The food was delicious - spicy and tasty without blowing your head off! The service was good and the prices very reasonable. The only disappointment was that there were so few diners on a Tuesday night - but the whole of Beaufort Street was pretty deserted so maybe it was just a quiet night. I would highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

First time visit for us - have never eaten Nepalese food before. We shared a range of dishes including steamed momos, tandoori lamb cutlets, chicken biryani, a mushroom dish, salad and naan bread. It was all delicious - great flavours and textures. The service was impeccable and the room provided a very pleasant environment. We will return!

Will not be back, got a tandoori prawns as a main and 6 prawns came out on the dish asked the waitress and she said that is the main i told her go get your manager, which she did not, so i had to call him over and ask the question is this your main or entree he then um and argh and did not apologize and said the main should have 9 prawns not 6 i said i thought so, so he went and got us 3 more prawns. A lesson to the manager / owner your on the fork app for a reason if you continue to try and rip people of because the have 50 % off , you will definitely shut your business down. I also was not greeted properly and told i was not suppose to bring byo wine nothing was stated on the booking when i made it bad business and customer service think again before dining here.

Good food, our orders got mixed up and 2 of our starters never came. We kept asking but our main arrived before our momos. Food is very tasty. I like to believe on our next visit. We will have great service and better experience. Cant fault the flavours

We were a bit disappointed with our food experience at the Everest 53. The service was very slow. The staff asked us if were thru the Fork and when I asked why they replied that the portions are smaller, which I think is unethical. Then they should say that in the offer upfront. The chicken in the butter chicken was semi cooked and tasted weird. While the Momos were nice, they dropped in number - smaller portion size, the cheese and garlic naans had no cheese and were dry. The Saag and Korma chicken was nice.

I went with 5 people. For entree got 2 share platters - veg and non veg. Mains shared 4 different dishes, rice, naan bread etc. Food all delicious and fresh. The resturant was very quiet - needed some background music playing.

Our table was positioned near the aircon which was great on a 42 degree day. Atmosphere is a bit outdated, only one floor staff. She did not seem too happy. The food taste was not bad, but the quality of food was sub par. The tandoori prawns tasted frozen ($20+), naan was frozen with part of the plastic cover still served on the dish. Butter chicken and biryani was tasty and decent serving size. Lady on the table behind ours had a portable fan whizzing next to our ears which was noisy.

This was a terrific little restaurant that I would happily go to again. While I rated the food as good rather than excellent, I hasten to add that I was referring to my meal only. My husband's meal was indeed excellent. The only problem with mine was it was too hot for me to really enjoy but I feel this was my own fault for not checking more carefully with the waitress about how spicy the dish I selected was. If I had done so I feel certain my meal would have also been excellent. The service at the restaurant, both at reception and at the table was first class and the atmosphere was also very good. I especially liked the interesting facts about Nepal included in the menu. We had no problem parking in a side street only a few hundred metres from the address and there is also paid parking even closer. All in all, I happily recommend this restaurant.

So glad we gave this place a go! We've been twice now and both times the food and staff were fantastic. The 50% off food deal is mint but even without that I'd happily pay full price for a meal here. The food is fantastic and very well priced.

The service at this place is poor which is a shame as the food is great. We dined here on a Fork 50% off food promotion which represented great value. However, when we went to pay, we were charged full price for the desserts and when we questioned the waitress (who happened to be the same one serving us throughout the night) she was adamant that 'food' did not include desserts. After talking to the manager though, the issue was resolved and the waitress accepted that dessert was indeed food! Who would have known!!!
