The chef was wonderfully accommodating when I asked for my steak to be pan fried and not cooked on the grill. No complaints and finished off in the oven. Made it one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. Just for how lovely it was and how accommodating they were, we will be going out of our way to go back there again. I didn’t get to thank them on the day.....but thank you!

Playground for youngsters is great. The magic show was certainly a plus for them.

I was charged $55.00 for a bottle of Pepperjack that is currently on sale at the adjoining drive through for $18.00. I accept a moderate markup on wines purchased with dinner but that is extortion. I plan to refer it to the appropriate authorities.

Being gluten and dairy free I was very limited. The menu wasn't very allergy friendly. I basically had only one salad that I could have minus the cheese and I added grilled prawns. It was really nice. But it’s also nice to have choices. Kids playground is fantastic! Kids had a ball. Kids menu was good too my son loves steak so was great to see it on a kids menu. Everyone in our group was happy with their meals.

Some meals were very overpriced I had small ribs with hardly any meat on it there was no mayonnaise in the coleslaw at all , just raw. And I can’t remember the last time I had cheap iceberg lettuce as a salad that I paid a lot of money for

The hotel has a children's play area that has a carousel but it only operates at very limited times. It seems curious that they would not have it operating regularly on the school holidays. We had 5 children in our group and they were extremely disappointed. We were there for 3 hours and the carousel sat still and unattended for the whole time.

Food was as ordered when it arrived. Slow for mains. Had to go up twice to check on desserts. Group of 12 with no children seated at the door to kids area.

My food was cold and my steak was poor Quality. Very tough and lots of sinew. Could not eat my food. Other guests at our table had to chase up forgotten meals twice.

The steaks on the a la carte menu are the crowd favourite, and we know why! The high quality grain fed and grass fed beef is served with salad and straight cut chips or a baked potato with sour cream. You also have the option of adding one of seven different sauces. We love the cafe dé Paris butter and recommend adding some roast field mushrooms on the side! Best dish: Eye fillet steak with a side of roast field mushrooms
