Jarrod Di Blassi joined EZARD in 2012 as sous chef, after stints in a number of Melbourne institutions as well as abroad in Michelin-starred venues. After getting acquainted with the core EZARD philosophies and Teage's 'Australian Freestyle' methodology, Jarrod took over the reigns as Head Chef at the start of 2014. Jarrod is the recipient of the 2017 Good Food Guide's highly coveted Young Chef of the Year award, & has appeared as a guest chef on MasterChef Australia.

This is an outstanding restaurant for a special occasion. The staff are well trained and very knowledgeable about their food and wine which is very important when choosing the food and matching wine option.

We celebrated my husbands birthday here on a date night. The food is amazing, we had the 8 course degustation and each plate is the perfect amount of food. The sommelier was very helpful and the overall service was excellent.

The taste of the food was amazing, can't complain. The quantity of the 8 course degustation was very small. Left slightly hungry. I added $25 for the wagyu, though it still came out in a tasting size, I felt completely ripped off by that because ordering it as a main I can imagine it would be a lot bigger. The service was generally good, at times they would refill your drink and disappear before you could say thank you.

Wine Dinner: EZARD x Curly Flat

Cost: $290 per person EZARD is proud to invite you to a very special dinner in collaboration with Curly Flat Vineyard. Curly Flat is a leading producer of cool-climate Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris and we are delighted to come together for one night in September. The evening will be hosted by Matt Harrop himself (winemaker), and will include a 4-course menu to accompany the vintages from Curly Flat. Please note: This intimate dinner has limited seating.
