The food, the environment and the staff could not have been better. We had a very good time and the staff independently draw a happy birthday to my partner’s plate, so nice of them. The only thing that I’d personally didn’t like so much was a bit of extra hot spice in one of the vegetarian 5 course dishes

Been here multiple times. Food, plating and service never failed to impress. However during this latest visit the portion size of each dish has gone down noticeably. Dessert platter which in past visits came with 6 different desserts this time only had 4. As good as the food was this cannot be overlooked.

Spent way too much money and left hungry. Delicious food but not value for money. Substitutes for the degustation for dietary requirements weren’t very nice (ie I’m allergic to prawn so the substitute dish was tofu) Wouldn’t come back

We had a voucher for Ezard as a wedding gift - we loved the food and the service! Definitely will be going back for our next special occasion.

Excellent, however better suited to special occasions as food and drinks are quite pricey.

Wonderful food and service yet again. Ezard never disappoints the discerning diner. Plating was outstanding. Pork Belly a triumph. Highly recommend the sharing plate of delectable desserts.

Fantastic service and such well presented and tasty food. Loved the prawn dumplings as the entree and the duck for main was delicious.

The food was good but compared too other fine dining places we have been to, this was not nearly as memorable and was more expensive.

About the restaurant

Squirreled away under the Adelphi, this basement-based stayer is the epitome of smooth. From the greeting at the door to the soft-furnished dining rooms, just-so lighting and muffled steps of waiters on carpet, it's cushy and cosseting and eminently comforting to sup under the ezard below-stairs roof. Guests are invited to indulge in Teage Ezard's acclaimed ‘Australian freestyle’ cuisine in a variety of ways: from a weekday express lunch or pre-theatre dinner, to an eight course tasting menu replete with fastidiously sourced wines to match.
