Great atmosphere, great service but the balmain bugs seems to carry excess water. All the other food was exceptional. My colleagues loved it and will attending with family in future.
Great food as always. Seafood was fresh and plenty if it. They had baked whole salmon last time but not tonight but nonetheless the food was great as always.
overall not a huge variety. the seafood was ok, constantly refilled which was good but not alot of hot food options. service was terrific and atmosphere was good.
Without a doubt, this is Sydney's most favoured buffet styled restaurant with unparalleled quality and selection of fresh dishes full of amazing taste!
best Buffet in Sydney with service to match. Don’t go in expecting gold plated brilliance, go in expecting high quality food and service and go for the adventure.
Food was delicious, but not too much variety for a "seafood buffet". I just hoped that there was also a free hot tea or coffee to ease your full stomach. Presentation of the food and the ambiance of the place is very good.
My drink arrived after I’d finished my meal...nearly an hour after I had ordered it. The queue for the seafood was so long that I actually gave up and had a seafood buffet without any seafood....we will not be returning.
Good food used to be great!
Not our first time at The Fork, so we knew what to expect . Great seafood dishes. But this will be the last time we will book mid-week at 8'pm . Not enough staff to replenish essential items at Charcuterie - they have this massive slicer machine on the floor but no product to cut , or anyone to slice it. After complaining about it , it took them 20 mins to cut 200 g of sliced ham and 200 g of Mortadella in the back and brough forward. A few slices of terrine were added after 9.30 pm ( ?) There were all the ingredients there at the salad bar to make a great Cesar Salad ( except parmesan shavings - after complaining, we were told a chef would bring it to our table . The Parmesan never arrived , after an hour wait nor an apology for not having any :( There were several new faces on the floor and they were trying to cope with the 1/2 booked main room , but it seemed they had lost their spark during the earlier seatings. We did have a good time , but it should have been a GREAT TIME . well not so on. ———?Thursdays evening at 8 pm... we won't come back if that's what to expect mid week . I hope management takes notice and brings this up at next staff meeting , as it's something I would do, if I managed the place .
Amazing selections of food from all cultures
Third visit, food is always kept topped up, nice and fresh. Service was slower but it was a busy night.
Excellent services, good quality of food
Good food and good service
Service was really great however at the end some customer didn’t appreciate the bill... it was heart breaking to see how the waiters copped the negative feedback but we stood up and made sure that the male customer was In His place... he had the audacity to play the racism card. Everything was lovely and honestly the workers take pride in their customers. Definitely recommend for the food and service.
The setting , atmosphere and service was as what one would expect from a 5-star hotel. However, the food was average and very overpriced for $98 per person, compared to what other 5-star hotels are charging for similar buffets. Seafood was standard. There nothing in hot food options which was high end - eg they had pizzas , noodles, roast, some salads and breads. The dessert was all just dressed to look like many options but really all the same - eg their chocolate cake, devil's cake and chocolate pudding all tasted exactly the same, just dressed differently. Not a buffet deserved of such a high price tag. There are other 5-star hotel buffet which offer better quality food and variety , and charge a more reasonable price . The hotel’s saving grace was The 50percent off The Fork promotion which brought the price down to be comparable with their competitors... maybe it’s their marketing strategy to make it look like the customer is getting a big 50 percent discount compared to their competitors.
Terrific food, terrific service, would highly recommend if you a looking for a relaxing lunch with great food. Attentive service, always on the look out to help
This was my first time and thought there would be a wider variety of food. Seafood was fresh and tasty, loved the variety of vegetables but not so much for the kind of seasoning for the hot dishes (meats). The pork and beef were my favourites and also the desserts (all of them were so good!), the pizza and the noodle bar was just ok (nothing special). Would suggest to make a bigger variety of cheeses, there were only 3 types available. Overall the experience was good!
A little disappointed with the buffet not what I expected. Not much variety when it came to carvery . If you like seafood then you will enjoy the buffet . Staff and service were great .
Delish Buffett. As expected. Highly recommend the salmon and the amazing pasta bake.
Exceptional value - deserves all stars . Quality food And great smiley service . Buffet good variety and abundance of sea food . The Carvery corner had very tasty well prepared Roast . Dessert a good selection . Loved it and will be back .
