Loved dining here. Seafood was super.
Busy and noisy enjoyed the Petit seafood but for $55 it was rather small definitely not 200gm prawns shown on menu market fish was excellent good choice of wines by the glass
Great food. Great vibe. Amazing Service!
Beautiful restaurant in all ways, excellent food, beautiful setting and lovely service. One of my favorite places to dine. Very special and never disappoints.
Fantastic meal. Great environment
This is the second time I ate here and the steak they cooked are always delicious.
I spent $600 on the evening and was pleased with the quality of the wine and champagne. We had two glasses of vintage Dom Perignon with half a dozen oysters - excellent.. The caviar was properly served and of good quality. My companion's seafood dish was good but my "steak frites", at $67 dollars, was dissapointing. The meat was less than 5 mm thick, grissly with large chunks of fat indispersed with beef of little flavour. Half the steak was inedible. The local pub could serve a better piece of meat at less than $30.00. The desert of profiteroles was good. Service was attentive but our waitress had little knoweledge of the wines available but: a more experienced waiter interceded and understood our order for a Henschke Pinot Gris which was served at the correct temperature.
We have been coming to Felix for quite a few years , each time we come to Sydney from Auckland. We love it! We have never been disappointed. We have a home in France so are well acquainted with French Bistro dining and Felix is equally as good if not better .
Came for a friend’s 40th, the food and atmosphere were perfect, the staff were friendly but not intrusive, great wine list - we were too full for desserts
An authentic French bistro vibe backed up by top quality food and wait staff (one from Montpellier, one from Brittany) who really know their stuff. Excellent people-watching in a bustling part of town. Charcuterie was memorable, butterfly trout superb and cabbage coleslaw with pistachio was exquisite.
Felix had good food but that seems to have deteriorated of late. Wine list is good for a price, of course but it does not have to be expensive for good wines. Overall a disappointment for a regular customer.
I had the pork cutlet, cauliflower side dish and the fries in a group outing. The food was excellent and the wine list was also varied. Ambience was also superb for a night out. Highly recommended!
The John Dory was superb. A lovely French gem that feels away from the hustle and bustle of Sydney CBD. Was busy but this is to be expected the week before Christmas. Recommended.
Bistro Felix definitely delivered......the staff were attentive without being intrusive, the menu extensive and food delicious. The restaurant itself was very busy however that added to our experience with atmosphere, certainly did not impact on service. We will be back!
Amazing food and service would definitely recommend
Our first visit to this restaurant and it was a lovely experience. Waiters were attentive even though it was busy. The food was delicious..highly recommended
One of my favourites in Sydney. Highly recommend it!!!!
Been many times to this wonderful restaurant and always loved it. Staff last night were not up to the usual professional standards that has been the norm here on other occasions.
The Bar staff have a wealth of knowledge about their Alcohol selection, the Waiting staff are very friendly and sociable, the food is exquisite and the ambience is second to none. It really is a wonderful restaurant which lives up to its reputation!
Been there several times before, the standard has dropped substantially. entree Gnochhi had barely any gnocchi. Serving size of crab salad was minuscule. The gelato on the profiteroles was icy but the icing on the cake had to be the extremely rude waiter that served us - it was absolutely appalling
2 Ash St, 2000, Sydney, Australia
Tucked away in Ash Street, you’ll feel like you’ve stumbled into the backstreets of Paris. An homage to the quintessential brasserie, every detail of Felix has been considered- from the imported French chandeliers, to Parisian subway tiles and beautiful pewter bar. Our intoxicating ambiance is matched by attentive service and classic French fare, delivered with precision.
