6.5/10A very confused dining location. Is it a pub, is it a bistro is it up market dining ? The food is excellent, the service friendly, but the atmosphere?

8.3/10Its a small restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. We went here on a friday night and the service was outstanding! Small but good menu options. The olive nibbles were not pitted, which i thought was very strange. The steak was very good. The Hapuka was nice too. The Rhubarb Crumble was not. The creme brulee was good. Price is high compared to the quality of food. They take AccorPlus memberships. Overall we were satisfied.

6.5/10Not to the standard of other Accor restaurants, very disappointed. Ordered the Large Plate of Truffle duck ragout with hand cut pappardelle, tomato confit and pecorino romano. The meal lacked flavour no duck and was smaller in size than my wife’s medium plate of Slowly baked crispy skin pork which she enjoyed. The Creme brûlée was also disappointing. I would expect more from a French owned chain of hotels

8.3/10Great coffee made perfectly to special order. Flavours were great and had food envy watching all the meals come out. The avocado toast and poached eggs was a bit over done and lacked some sauce or relish, but the other orders of porridge were really delicious. Would definitely recommend.

9.3/10Excellent service, food was very delicious with generous servings, ordered too many share plates before mains. Save room for dessert!
