Nothing was booked and we was lucky to find a place to sit ????

Fenians was actually not taking bookings for St Patrick's Day 17th March 2023, but this was not communicated to thefork, which accepted our booking. When we arrived, there was no table reserved, and the staff told us that we had to go to the other restaurant Sen5es in Novotel Perth if we wanted to be seated for a meal. The Sen5es staff said the booking was not for them, but for Fenians, so we were requested to go back to Fenians again. After waiting for 20 mins, a table had finished and we quickly sat down to get the table. Queue to order food/drinks at the bar was of course very long, being St Patrick's Day. Food choices offered were very limited, and being very busy, food quality was sub par. This is in comparison to their normal offerings which are quite good (when we have dined there before). Drinks seem to be watered down as well, not sure if it's due to festivities or a cost cutting measure i.e. the Kilkenny's on tap was more dilute than normal, without proper head. We hope that comms and food quality improve so that diners aren't caught out.
