The food was very well cooked and presented. I had the lamb shank and it was tasty, generous and very delicious. Just wish it could have been warmer when it came to the table. My friend had the risotto with prawns and it was again a generous portion and tasty. Great attentive efficient staff. Would go again for another meal.

Fiorellis was selected for a birthday celebration, (and their Chocolate Souffle), the restaurant didn't disappoint. The food was great, the service was very good and the chocolate souffle was as good as I remembered. We plan to come back again.

Service was excellent, the wait-staff were very tentative and were very observant to notice that it was a romantic occasion and serve us accordingly - making it extra special. They made themselves available and allocated us really romantic seats. Highly recommend

The art deco decor is cool and the service is fine. The food was reasonably priced and for the most part was nicely prepared, although my wife's risotto was a bit gluggy and the chicken a little dry.

About the restaurant

Local Italian favourite

Meters from Camberwell Junction, and directly opposite the famed Rivoli Theatre in East-Hawthorn, an Italian landmark stands tall, as it has done since 1991. Fiorelli Restaurant has made a name for itself as a beacon of classic, homely Italian cooking, loved by locals and visitors alike. The restaurant has a simple philosophy of offering great food and first-rate service. The décor is initially somewhat overwhelming - you are greeted by an entrance of sandstone and glass, and then ushered into a cavernous dining space with arches and tall pillars either side. However, the simple wooden tables and chairs balance out this dramatic welcome. There’s not a white tablecloth to be seen and diners are easily relaxed by the hearty and familiar Italian-style menu. If you can resist filling up on both entree and main, try and save room for dessert – the chocolate soufflé is simply spectacular!

Best Dish: twice cooked half duck with sautéed spinach, crispy polenta and sweet balsamic sauce.
