Arnie Josue

Arnie Josue is Australian raised and Filipino born, with a career working in prestigious restaurants across the world. From The Botanica to Quay, Arnie also called Dublin home for three years and travelled to Beijing and Shanghai, heading up the a la carte kitchen in the Beijing Olympics and the Swiss Pavilion at The World Expo. After working in Singapore he returned home to Fitzroy Town Hall Hotel, displaying contemporary European and Asian techniques and the generosity that it’s renowned for.

The food was great it was unfortunate that my wife and I are on rigid diets at the moment and therefore couldn’t sample more. We will probably go back once not in the diets and try different things

Pleasant decor and atmosphere with wonderful friendly service. The chips are splendid (thick cut) but Wagyu not as tender as I expected.

Sunday lunch sitting just near the fire place. Our waitress was the only one working the floor at the time and she did a fantastic job!!!! The service was excellent. Food delish and atmosphere great. We will be back !!!

About Fitzroy Town Hall Hotel

Hightail it to the Town Hall Fitzroy Town Hall Hotel is a place everybody would like to have as their local. Chef/proprietor Sean Donovan (ex-Station Hotel Footscray, Wayside Inn South Melbourne and Botanical South Yarra) has created a no nonsense gastropub with a menu featuring contemporary European bistro classics, freshly shucked oysters, an impressive selection of steaks, charcuterie and counter meals. Private dining is also available in the wine cellar downstairs and there is a beautiful room with a balcony upstairs available that seats seventy. Fitzroy Town Hall Hotel is a local pub where cold beer, excellent food, wine and service is paramount, it's the perfect place to relax with friends in a warm and welcoming environment. This is gastropub dining at its very best. Best dish: 600g Great Southern grass fed Chateaubriand, Bordelaise (for 2).
