Hightail it to the Town Hall Fitzroy Town Hall Hotel is a place everybody would like to have as their local. Chef/proprietor Sean Donovan (ex-Station Hotel Footscray, Wayside Inn South Melbourne and Botanical South Yarra) has created a no nonsense gastropub with a menu featuring contemporary European bistro classics, freshly shucked oysters, an impressive selection of steaks, charcuterie and counter meals. Private dining is also available in the wine cellar downstairs and there is a beautiful room with a balcony upstairs available that seats seventy. Fitzroy Town Hall Hotel is a local pub where cold beer, excellent food, wine and service is paramount, it's the perfect place to relax with friends in a warm and welcoming environment. This is gastropub dining at its very best. Best dish: 600g Great Southern grass fed Chateaubriand, Bordelaise (for 2).
