We love the Mexican decor and atmosphere of the restaurant. The Fajitas with herb and lime chargrilled chicken and skirt steak were tasty and tender and the trio dips were savoured. Thank you very much for us enjoying the evening and friendly service.
Delicious food and amazing spicy margarita! Got the queso fundito and was licking the bowl. Only comment to make was that it was very warm upstairs.
Food was lovely, nice sized portions. Guacamole and chips were good and the beef burrito was yummy. Friendly staff and nice environment
The service was average, the waitress was grumpy and not friendly. The guacamole is blended and was like a brought store dip. My main was ordered incorrectly, and when the correct dish, arrived it was just dumped on our table. Food was pretty average. Upstairs smelt of camphor, and was quiet over powering. Plus air con wasn’t working and a busy restaurant made it super hot.
We received our mains before our shared entree arrived, this was irritating as our mains went a tad cold before we ate the entree. We were also shoved beside a table of 16-18 drunk/loud people, could hardly hear ourselves think. Special sangria was lovely, food was nice but could have been rated awesome if had been delivered to our table in correct order, and enjoyed at right temp.
The food was good and arrived quickly, but the restaurant was uncomfortable due to a lack of air circulation. We would have ordered more drinks if the wait staff had come past our table after the food was served!
This was a terrible experience. There was no aircon. We had to move tables 3 times. It’s unheard of that a restaurant would subject its customers to what was essentially a furnace. We were all soaked and uncomfortable. Do not go here if it’s remotely warm outside. Go to Bunnings and get some aircon!!!
The place is really cool with a nice atmosphere. We ordered a burrito, enchilada, and quesadilla. They were nice :)
Nachos was delicious
Okay food but terrible service upstairs. Steak and brisket were very dry, vegetable fajita was delicious, as were kids meals. We probably won't be back
Food: Excellent. Really appreciate the wide range of real vegetarian options. The tortillas are warm and fluffy. Service: Upstairs is understaffed. The staff do not communicate well between themselves leading to confusion. Atmosphere: Great little local diner. Tables are really too tightly packed upstairs. Value: Probably a little pricey for what you get.
Food was great & I would recommend it for sure BUT.... The service could have been a little better. We had several different staff waiting on our table & this appeared to cause confusion as we were asked the same thing several times by several staff. One staff member stubbornly interrupted whilst we were mid conversation. We were brought the wrong meal & its just come to my attention that we were also over charged as the incorrect meal was still listed on the bill. Such a shame as the food was good
One staff member was made to care for a whole room of people. The food tasted as though it was froze, the family seated next to us asked their waitress to take a photo of them, she replied with ‘later I’m too busy’. I was quite disappointed tonight and I sadly will not be returning
Service was good. Food was good but not exceptional. However, they had a great selection of hot sauces and tequila.
Very delicious local Mexican food! We had chimichanga and nachos and we highly recommend both. Finished off with chocolate chimichanga which was an absolute treat! Will definitely return.
A good safe option for some good Mexican. The Fajitas are the bomb and there always seems to be enough atmosphere to keep you entertained. Will go again for sure.
Best Mexican. A must try!!!
Really liked the decor and ambience of the restaurant. Our waiter was also very friendly and helpful when we asked for his recommendations. Unfortunately they had run out of the Albondigas when we went to dine here. Was really looking forward to that dish!
Always enjoy the food and service here
Really great food, reasonably priced and nice atmosphere. The chimichanga beef brisket was excellent, watermelon and cucumber salad delicious and try the banana and chocolate chimichanga for a different experience- well worth it!
