I think I’ve pretty much tried everything on the menu and love it all! This time around I had the mushroom fettuccine, and being Mostly a meat eater, this could definitely change my preferences. Yum! So tasty and filling! I had the tempranillo which complimented it nicely, and my partner had the slow cooked lamb which was divine also. I love the atmosphere - during the day the views are serene. It’s really a lovely place.

A beautiful setting in an historic building. Delicious slow cooked meals & lovely wines to go with it. We’ve been several times & have never been disappointed. Only suggestion is to have some rugs or throws for legs, even though there’s a beautiful fire roaring, customers sitting at the opposite end of the restaurant can get a bit chilly.

Food was good, cooked well - but presentation lacks creativity and surprise. Flavours are fine but no wow factor. Service good, atmosphere loud, but cosy. Overall a little disappointing. Unfortunately I feel I wouldn't need to return.

I’ve been to Fondata several times - the food is always good and until yesterday the service had always been good too. It’s not so good when you have to ask for bread, butter and sugar several times. I had finished my coffee before sugar arrived for my friend. Maybe they were short staffed????

Waiter staff service was actually good just the wait for the mains was every bit of 45 mins anything over 45 us a bit much
