Top quality food and a good selection. Fresh produced all prepared in the kitchen including the deserts, which can be a rarity. Staff very welcoming. Easily one of the best restaurants in Funchal

I had read the reviews and can only agree. One of the top restaurants in town. We had the Chateaubriand and the meat was delicious. Franco comes around and says hello to all his guest. Will be back for sure and will recommend.

We read on trip advisor about this restaurant and we were not disappointed. We shared the shellfish and rice and it was delicious. It was brought out in an iron pot and you cold keep topping you plate up. I kept watching the other meals being brought out and they all looked superb and substantial. We asked for a taxi back to our hotel and the owner Franco took us in his car. Lovely people lovely meal lovely night

Franco’s Corner is a truly wonderful restaurant. The food is superb and the service excellent. A complementary pick up service is also provided. We live in Funchal and of the hundreds of restaurants here, we do not know of a better one than this!

Excellent meal, attentive friendly service, good wine list, offers pick-up and return to hotel. Overall a wonderful experience!

Lovely restaurant and staff very friendly.. Sommelier was very knowledgable and helpful beautiful local wine and great food. Definitely be back on our next visit to Madeira.

Traditional beef-dishes were 10/10. Service was 10/10 The unplanned(!) surprise for my mother was a nice touch (birthday) and the portugese chorus for the birthday song from the next table just made it one of those unforgettable moments. I will certainly recommend this restaurant for anyone on the lookout for an excellent (and affordable) meal in a great environment .

Absolutely the best!!! We have eaten at wonderful restaurants throughout Spain/Portugal and this is our favorite! Food delicious, price very reasonable and service above and beyond! Owner even drove us back to hotel & friends to their apartment!! Besides sparkling wine and desert they made me a flower arrangement for my bday! This would be our regular place if we lived here.

Great little restaurant. Franco himself came to pick us up from from our hotel and explained a little of how the restaurant opened. Really good food selection and quality. Presentation was brilliant. Very friendly service. Will visit again.

Simply gorgeous. You can tell as soon as you walk in that you are going to have s good time. The welcome is superb, the ambience just right and the restaurant is quite magnificently designed. Everyone is delightful from the owner to the waiting staff and the food is excellent. For a restaurant that has only been open for less than a year, in such a competitive market, they are outstanding. Congratulations and good luck in the future.

Wonderful last dinner in Madeira! Franco and his staff were above and beyond expectations. A definite must for anyone looking for fine dining at reasonable prices. Top chef, she delivered delicious food.

Excellent service

What a friendly place! We loved the food - had mixed cheeses for starters - so good! Then the fresh sea bass as main course which was delicious. Great live entertainment with a singer. Just a lovely evening.

Amazing food and wine, wonderful welcome and service. Franco even offers a pick-up service. This was not our first visit and it definitely won’t be our last! We think this is the best restaurant in Funchal! Congratulations Franco, you do a superb job.
