Great food and wonderful service. We asked for a recommendation for a bottle of wine and were not disappointed at all!

We were greeted by wonderful staff. The service was spot on. Timing for wine, entrees and mains made the evening. Then the food was beautiful. Looking forward to going again as in.

Dinner was very enjoyable except for the substituted steak (sirloin) which was quite tough to cut and eat, otherwise, very enjoyable with a lovely view of Kings Park and the city.

We entered the restaurant and was greeted at the service counter. Taken to our table which was what we wanted. Window seating with a view of the city. Just a small selection, but that was great . We both selected an entree, main meal and dessert and a bottle of champagne. Waitress was excellent always there topping up our glass. The food was well prepared and presented and delicious. Great afternoon thank you.

Good welcoming, drinks offered quickly, no pressure to give pleasant waitress the order, Food excellent. Drinks and wine relatively expensive but expected as someone has to pay for the top venue and ambience. We mentioned it was a birthday for one of us & a sparkler candle & small cake provided cheerily, no problem. Will undoubtedly return, as we had a similar lunch experience three months ago.

While excellent in some respects, overall the food was over salted, particulalry the charred bread with the duck and chicken parfait and the lamb shoulder. The chocloate and raspberry dessert was mediocre. Service was acceptable if you don't mind waiting 15 minutes between finishing a pre dinner/entree mixed drink and getting to order a bottle of wine - after several attempts to attract the attention of the staff. When they attended they were very good. Main arrived within a few minutes of main and a dessert menu lnded on the table within one minute of clearing main plates. Not fine dining by any stretch of the imagination.

Whilst we had kid and infant ourselves, ours were well behaved, however the same couldn't be said for the table next to us and I feel it was ruining the atmosphere for everyone else. It's unfortunate for the restaurant because they have no power over this, it's up to the parents to discipline their children. Besides that the warm breeze was a great touch to the wonderful view.

Food and service perfect for the day and location. Tuna tataki and red emperor delicious. Surprised it wasn’t busier. Will be back again and try a meal at night.

Staff was great. Food wasn’t good, price too expensive and waiting time for food and drink way too long especially the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. The quality of chip was very poorly.

The lunch and atmosphere, was very nice; however as a couple perhaps not being located next to a large business group would nice. We were disappointed, in the watermelon salad: we both though we would have been more than 3 bite sized pieces of watermelon, and those poor 3 pieces were lost in a sea of rocket lettuce.

bit nervous after a previous average experience at the same restaurant but this time, great food, sat outside on a perfect night, interesting and complex wines that complimented the meal perfectly, very good service and helpful wait staff, definitely go back again

Impressive service but perhaps a bit over attentive at times so we felt a bit rushed between courses. It was a quiet evening so perhaps the wait staff were just eager to serve us. V polite, informative and charming nonetheless.

About the restaurant

King’s Parks hidden gem!

Located at the top of Kings Park lies Fraser’s. Boasting some of the best views and food in Perth, you’ll soon fall in love. From the deck you can take in the beautiful bushland, the city skyline and the Swan River. The dining room has a contemporary feel with dark timber, warm reds and deep blues. This spot is perfect for long romantic dinners, and special celebrations.

The menu features seafood, including chilli soft shell crabs and chargrilled rock lobster with lemon butter. If seafood isn’t your thing, there are plenty of options including the roast loin of lamb. There are plenty of cocktails and wines to choose from. Make sure you don’t leave till you’ve tried a dark and storm or an old fashioned.

Best Dish: Teriyaki flank steak with kimchi, radish, pear and brown rice.
