Food was good, but the service was pretty lousy. It was extremely noisy, so expect to have to shout to have a conversation. They did allow us to change to a more quiet table, but it was not much help.
Usually it is much better here but when I last went they are a bit slow on the service and the food was quite average. The bowl of chips were overcooked and water wasn't offered to the table. It might've been busier but the experience was much worse than normal.
Wet noisy and food was very average
Excellent fresh food and service, nice wine. The table seating was great for discussion and a business lunch. It is also in a very convenient location.
Really good pastas.
Great food. Service was a bit slow, perhaps because of the special of the day. Waited over an hour for our 3 dishes. Food was the usual great quality.
Food was good and served quickly even during the busy lunchtime.
Always a good staple for a city lunch. Always love the cabbage salad and bruscetta - difficult to beat. The house wines (especially rose) are also great and worth trying.
We went on a Tuesday because I love antipasto, they wouldn’t allow just one person to get the antipasto board, it had to be more than one.
Great food and good service but the noise levels are really high - couldn’t hear the person sitting across the table. They need to do something to cut the noise - acoustic tiles would be a big improvement
Great tasting but the main was simply not enough. Also when I asked for Pinot Grigio, rather than confirm the bottle she assumed the more expensive. Tricky.
Not bad food and value and kids eat free is great. Service from manager was good but the rest of staff could be more attentive.
Great! Great! Great!
Restaurant not clearly signed from the road Otherwise the atmosphere --cool and quiet on a hot day. The food beautiful, particularly the pear and walnut said. The service helpful and polite Altogether a very positive experience and I will recommend it to others
Great value package - even better when using the fork discount. This is one of our favourite places
Good , nothing special. Wish they did not pack up so early.
Was disappointed about my salad. Green beans was not in there and the feta cheese was very little, only bits. There were lots and lots of green leaves
Food was okay, pasta was nothing special. Pizza was great.
Food was really good, the polenta is outstanding! The service was great too - it was just a little too noisy, hard to hear my friend and we at a small table.
11 Bridge St, 2000, Sydney, Australia
Located beneath the bustling pavement and busy bitumen of the CBD is Fratelli Fresh Bridge Street. Occupying what was originally a spice market, this curious subterranean setting with its low ceilings, lacquered concrete floors and moody low light is an intriguing space in which to dine. It’s ideal for an after work snack and a cheeky glass of red. Hunker down with a bowl of pasta or sink your teeth in to a slice of gourmet pizza that’s been pulled straight from the wood fire oven - it really doesn’t get any better.
Best dish: any of their pasta dishes.
