Great food and good service but the noise levels are really high - couldn’t hear the person sitting across the table. They need to do something to cut the noise - acoustic tiles would be a big improvement
Great tasting but the main was simply not enough. Also when I asked for Pinot Grigio, rather than confirm the bottle she assumed the more expensive. Tricky.
Restaurant not clearly signed from the road Otherwise the atmosphere --cool and quiet on a hot day. The food beautiful, particularly the pear and walnut said. The service helpful and polite Altogether a very positive experience and I will recommend it to others
Good , nothing special. Wish they did not pack up so early.
Food was really good, the polenta is outstanding! The service was great too - it was just a little too noisy, hard to hear my friend and we at a small table.
Came here for world pasta day which was buzzing and service was extremely quick. Food was great, venue was very warm hence drinks went warm quite quickly but given the price for the pasta it all worked out fine. Overall a very pleasant dining experience
Love the $39 lunch special
Prices without any discount are a bit pricey. On Sundays, there is a 10% surcharge. But the staff were very friendly and obliging...even turned down the volume of 'music' when I asked if they could :-) Great restaurant and the food is always reliably delicious!!
Went for a business lunch - service was a bit slow today, but overall great food.
Great value for money
Fantastic happy hour deal but gets very busy in the week. Great kids menu, lovely staff.
very loud and circular tables meant the group was divided and unable to talk freely to each other
The food was exquisite and service was excellent. Will definitely go back.
Always a great night out with my group of friends, and really fantastic to make the most of happy hour and friend of fratelli
Food was decent, not amazing. Portion size was good. Service lacked a little bit would try it out again.
Good value place with good food and great atmosphere
Great food and service. My kids and I enjoyed very much the meals that we ordered, paired with a great wine. The only improvement that I can think of is a better acoustic setup to reduce noise from all the tables and customers.
Honestly, Fratelli never disappoints - quick, tasty, perfect quality to value ratio, central etc etc. Don't go expecting Pendolinos or Uccello, think unfussy proper Italian...the sort of place where adding extra seats is fine, being noisy is fun and if you don't get sauce on your shirt you're not trying hard enough.
11 Bridge St, 2000, Sydney, Australia
Located beneath the bustling pavement and busy bitumen of the CBD is Fratelli Fresh Bridge Street. Occupying what was originally a spice market, this curious subterranean setting with its low ceilings, lacquered concrete floors and moody low light is an intriguing space in which to dine. It’s ideal for an after work snack and a cheeky glass of red. Hunker down with a bowl of pasta or sink your teeth in to a slice of gourmet pizza that’s been pulled straight from the wood fire oven - it really doesn’t get any better.
Best dish: any of their pasta dishes.
