Happy hour deal is always excellent. Felt really bad because when we went during happy hour (a busy time) there was only one staff member serving the entire restaurant!! Hopefully that was an outlier.

We used the Fork 50% off offer so it was good value. But I wouldn't go again if I had to pay full price, especially as the drinks e.g. wine, are quite expensive. The food was nice but atmosphere quite noisy. Also, the kitchen closes very early. We had an 7pm booking v and waited a while to be seated. By the time we finished our main meal and wanted coffee and dessert we were told th e coffee machine had been switched off and kitchen was closed. This is silly especially for a Friday night when people stay out later.

Was busy so service wasn’t that prompt. Food was ok. Portion of the pasta was small. Cake was too pricey at $16 for a small slice. Kids meals weren’t free so false advertising

Food was lovely, pasta was al dente, sauce was silky, could be warmer. Service was a bit vage and forgetful. Had to ask three times for my diet coke. Full of loud Asians.

My friend and I had dinner here on National Pasta Day, during their $10 pastas if ordered with a drink promotion. We found the initial welcome to be poor, we stood waiting for a few minutes before staff noticed. We were then seated near the kitchen and ordered off their promotions menu. We ordered 2 cocktails and the prawn linguine and lamb ragu rigatoni. The food was served within minutes, however was bland. The pasta noodles were not fresh hand made noodles (not sure if we got the wrong idea that it was supposed to be), the rigatoni was bland and tasted of plain canned tomato puree, no seasoning or flavour. By the time we had finished our pastas, they served us the cocktails and table water. The cocktails were ok, nothing exciting, they tasted more like cough syrup. Overall, for the price of about $26 per person, it is well worth it to explore other Italian restaurants within the area that can easily provide flavourful, fresh pastas at the same price. I would not recommend this place for pasta, it was a total disappointment.

We enjoyed our experience, food is tasty!! Room is a bit noisy and the waiter got confused with ginger beer and beer, and gave them to wrong guests. Final bill didn’t take into account of 50% off, we fixed it manually. Happy that the restaurant offered a complimentary red wine, thank you :)

About the restaurant

Hidden Freshness

Set in the heart of the bustling Sydney CBD is Fratelli Fresh Westfield. This thriving venue is a favourite of corporates on the hunt for a quick breakfast bite or a lunchtime feast - what more can we say, this glorious Italian resto is just what the doctor ordered.

Hunker down with a bowl of pasta or sink your teeth in to a slice of gourmet pizza that’s been pulled straight from the wood fire oven - it really doesn’t get any better.

Best dish: any of their pasta dishes.
