Excellent
We had the full degustation without matching wines; fantastic flavours developing over each course. Good service at a good pace, bit over 2 hours. The room is novel, very bar-ish definitely not matching the quality of the food.
Delightful host greeted us upon arrival, we chose the four degustation meal with matching wines, so delicious. I would highly recommend 'Frenchies' restaurant to anyone looking for a wonderful night out..
Excellent food, especially the squid ink seafood fettuccine! Great service, friendly staffs and happy atmosphere! Support locals and will definitely come back for more!
This place has a nice feel and ambiance with the on site brewery however; if you attend on a Wednesday night with kids you are only presented a degustation menu with a price tag of $70 and or smally eats to share. The concept and title of this venue has the word ‘bistro and brewery’ which would suggest it has a European pub vibe. The lunch menu looks really good, that same menu should be on offer at dinner. Plus side: Fantastic beer produced on site.
Fabulous restaurant, that celebrates a culinary excellence and a seasonal produce, exceptional selection of wines and delicious beers brewed on site, and yet relaxed yet attentive atmosphere. All dishes are conceived and executed to perfection. It is joy to keep coming back for a quick drink, or an eight course degustation extravaganza. Absolutely love it.
Very Disappointed We had the 4 course menu that had mistakes on every dish. The raw fish entree had skin left on it which was incredibly chewy & fishy & there was no acid in the dish. The hot fish came with clams that had visible sand on them that was ingrained in the dish. The lamb was tiny after removing the unrendered fat & the worst was dessert. It was beige pear & sesame dessert that unfortunately looked like a swirl of dog poo. Sesame overpowered everything and it has some incredibly unappetising textures. This place is good for cheese/ meat platters & beers but we wouldn’t have a bistro dinner there again.
A great place for a late lunch with my daughter. The best gnocchi I have had in my lifetime. A lovely venue, good wine list, and lovely staff. Will definitely return.
We had a birthday celebration at Frenchies for 16 people. We started off with a brewery tour/tasting followed by dinner in the restaurant. Frenchies were very accommodating with dietary requirements and the food was beautiful. Vince, Charly and all the staff were great. Thank you for a wonderful night.
Food was divine and service was great. I enjoyed this outing so much and is planning to return ASAP.
Frenchies food and beer is consistently good. Menu changes keep up the interest levels too. Will definitely return again soon. Keep up the great work guys !
Lovely food and ambience. Highly recommend.
Was a lovely place to spend a Saturday evening. Food was perfect staff and service was brilliant they couldn't do enough. We had a tasting paddle of beers and cocktails .
We really enjoyed our meals at this bistro however unfortunately the service was average. My husband was disappointed with his beer tasting flight as a third of his beers were froth.
Amazing staff!! Pretty good food.
Lovely local brewery/restaurant. Everything made in-house, fresh and locally sourced. Degustation menu with drink pairing is amazing value. Highly recommend
My husband and I wanted something close to what he always had in France. He's French and we keep looking for food that is almost like home and we found it. We had the 8 Course degustation and even if some of it is a fusion of French and different cuisines, it has maintained the taste of home. The taste was subtle which is what we both like when we were done, the feeling was not heavy, it was just a feeling of content.
Amazing food, the degustation menu is very tasty. Great choice of wine and of course local beers. The service was very professional and friendly. Highly recommended place, we had an amazing diner there.
A small french restaurant provide high quality french food, very good value for money, hope they keep the gd work going!
The food tasted very yum
Nicely done. Great food and wine pairing. Awesome service. Will return
