Personal friendly staff. Great tasty food served in reasonable time. Only drawback was the cobwebs under the table on the veranda. The desert was delicious.
I had FOD which was snapper. Served with a steak knife on the side. Mash was over dressed, the fish was very dry and way over cooked. The staff were all very pleasant.
We booked through TheFork but Fusion on Swan didn’t have our booking. The food was ordinary and the service was the same. I’m not in a rush to go back
Fusion on Swan is a quaint little house and restaurant in the Swan Valley. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere is old worldly. A lovely Sunday, but remember it’s BYO if you wish to imbibe.
Setting was homely and rustic so very inviting. Food was generous and totally acceptable. Reception was disappointing though. I had purchased a Groupon and, thinking it was the right thing to do, went online to make reservation. I inadvertently did this via The Fork, not realising it wasn't the restaurant's website. We received a frosty reception upon arrival and were told as we had incorrectly booked we had to pay the $5.50 per person booking fee or cancel the booking. It was unnecessarily rude and made us feel very unwelcome.
Beautiful tasty food and presentation. Could have been a better choice of background music as it was only a radio station. The young lady needs to get a personality as to serving people.
There really isn’t anything to criticise with this little gem. Our whole table were extremely impressed with the food and the service. Beautiful rustic setting I’ll be returning, soon. Thank you
This was a return visit because we rated the foo highly and enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. The portions were very generous as well. What detracts most from the experience is that whilst the table waiter was polite and efficient all the staff we met were generally dispassionate. This is not a show stopper but a "Welcome to Fusion" or "Thanks for coming and did you enjoy your meal" would have been a nice touch and left us with a better impression of the establishment. Nevertheless, we will return!
Lovely setting and food. Post COVID wait staff are very new and still learning; helpful but not knowledgable and not "polished". Chicken Risotto was delicious. Chicken caesar ok but had to ask for the addition of anchovies despite stated on the menu. Overall good and we would give it another go.
A lovely sounding menu online but 3 out of the 4 meals were not up to our expectations. The chicken n mushroom pie was in fact a dish with pieces of chicken and mushrooms in a strong tomato based sauce, with a slice of thin loose pastry perched on top - not what we expected for a pie. Crispy skin salmon was served without any skin! Service was slow ( we think they were understaffed due to Covid), but desserts and coffee were really good!
Couldn't use our entertainment card because we booked online. NOT HAPPY
Came for lunch Mother’s Day, Internet reviews we had seen were not that great so we didn’t expect much but were very pleasantly surprised. The staff were lovely, the food was really nice and lots of GF options which is good as one of us is a Coeliac. Kid friendly too. The ambience was really really nice, I would go again and would recommend to friends. It’s a cafe, and byo.
Really disappointed with the food. I ordered the Wok of chicken, crispy vegies and noodles. The chicken was dry, the noodles were not cooked properly and stuck together, the carrots were raw and the sauce was from a jar. The pork twice cooked ribs were just pork chops covered in a sauce which pretty sure was from a jar. Very disappointing and not sure I would recommend anyone to go there. Very over priced for quality of food.
Slow service didn’t clear plates or ask if we wanted coffee when finished our meal
Cute little cafe
Quiet. Food good value. Lot of free seats but seated in cramped area - although we should have spoken up.
Awesome. Friendly staff Food was great. Service was quick.
We all enjoyed the food and the service and would certainly go back again.
Had a breakfast voucher. Husband and I both ordered eggs on toast with salmon. Salmon wasn't worth the effort as it was so stingey. Wouldn't bother going again to spend $19 for eggs Benedict. Waste of money. Need to lift their game !!!
Lovely quaint atmosphere and fresh bread.

Down by the Riverside
You have to head way, way up West Swan Road past Caversham and through the glorious Swan Valley to get to this quaint, unpretentious little restaurant set inside a lovely old Federation-style cottage. If you turn up early enough they´ll cook you a magnificent breakfast of the old-fashioned English eggy kind, or something more American with pancakes and maple syrup. At lunch (every day except Tuesday) and dinner (only on Fridays and Saturdays) the menu takes on a contemporary Australian feel with a touch of Asian. If you try the fusion plate you´ll get a tasty combination of spring rolls, samosas, nori rolls, calamari, smoked salmon, pork ribs, olives and feta cheese, with fresh Turkish bread and dips. The service is friendly and very happy to welcome your children as well. Don´t eat too much for your mains because their desserts are a treat!
