Enjoyed a really good dinner here midweek . Excellent service , lovely ambience - felt more French than many Parisienne restaurants in fact ! The food was very palatable also - would return for sure !

The food and service were both excellent. I'm not sure if the full price would be completely be worth it (we had a 50% off deal for our meal) as the portions were quite small, but it would still be enjoyable as an occasional meal.

I'm sorry to say I would not go again. Every other table received a basket of complimentary bread and butter except us, which was a bit unfair? I also put in the booking instructions that it was my friends' birthday, hoping they could write a small "Happy Birthday" message with the dessert, which was not acknowledged. Service was quite slow and we had to wave down the waiter each time. Food was okay, but I think overpriced for what it was worth. If I had paid full price, this would've been well over $200 for 2 people for bistro food!

The pate was great but not enough bread. Everything tasted fantastic.

The service was great- staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was very average, even considering price was 50% off it was still quite disappointing. The entree and 2 out of 3 mains were lukewarm and food tasted rather bland. The atmosphere and restaurant vibe was great but quite disappointed by the quality of food.

I love the ambience and the decor. The dessert was very impressive. The first Paris Brest I've ever had in a Sydney French restaurant. The main were average. I'd like to see more French dishes not various steaks. Wines are quite pricy.

Enjoyable French restaurant with authentic touches like all staff being French, French music, etc. Nice romantic setting. Food was tasty- I would recommend the mussels! The only negative point I would say is that the food and wine is really expensive.

Nice food and very good service, would have been pricey without the 50% discount from the fork

Food was very tasty, lovely setting, friendly staff but the wait between entree and main seemed quite long considering there were only 4-5 other small tables occupied.

The atmosphere was great and provided a friendly vibe throughout the meal. The steak and the ravioli we ordered were delicious. Would recommend.

Great food and atmosphere in this classically French restaurant - particularly loved the French onion soup and fried flounder that was cooked to perfection!

We had so much hope for this place. The waiter, the wine and the ambience was great however that was about it. The food was underwhelming and overpriced, even with the discount. Sorry.

Another great night at Gavroche! Perfect fun professional service paired with excellent food. And the Coravin lets you try exceptional wines usually not for sale by the glass ???? Merci Gavroche !

Went with friends who we’ve dined with in Paris and enjoyed a little bit of France here in Sydney even more! All dishes were excellent from entree to dessert. Recommend Gavroche for a special dinner.

Nice location and décor. The food just missed something. Starter was very good but I expected something better from main and desert at the price point of the restaurant. Had prawn ravioli. Very little prawn and pasta was a little hard. The lemon meringue tart needed a little more lemon as overshadowed by crust. Ice-cream was just OK.
