Excellent
Love the seafood platter and deserts. Great setting really enjoyed my lunch with my family. I will go back for sure. So tasty and authentic you could be in Greece
It's been a long time since we had dined at George's Meze and we were hoping that it was as good as always... It was! Pretty busy for a Tuesday night, good buzz going and friendly ambiance. Sat on the patio and watched the world go by while enjoying some calamari meze. Mains of goat, salmon and vegetarian platter went down a treat and we were all very satisfied with our choices. Unfortunately, no space left for dessert although it looked VERY tempting! YAY, George's is still a top notch dining establishment!
Great ambiance and popular spot. The food has been of intermittent quality when I’ve been- some dishes are excellent and others below par. Shame that the standard is not reliable as its a nice family run local
Food was great, we had the seafood platter for two and it was all very yummy (the potato wedges seemed a little out of place though) chilli mussels on point. Service was brilliant, attentive without being overbearing. Would recommend for sure ☺️
A fantastic place for an evening in Perth especially warmer months , with a greek island setting . The food is generous and authentic with ample Vegan and vegetarian options. Great for friends m groups and family . Highly recommend
It was our first time at the restaurant... great service and amazing food ! The waitress was amazing and she attended to our order in no time. Will definitely go back .
Food is excellent and consistently so. Also not too noisy so you can have a decent conversation. Restaurant is not cheap but is great value. Have never been disappointed.
Unfortunately, after a pleasant meal, my partner and I both had reactions to something in the food. I don't know what it was as we shared everything at the restaurant and while it tasted fine at the time, we both had upset stomachs after (and we didn't share any other meals that day). If I had to take a stab in the dark, I'd guess that it might have been the squid as it was tough and didn't taste the freshest, whereas the rest of the food tasted perfect. But I really am just guessing. I wish this hadn't happened because it really was a lovely experience until we started feeling sick. I have no complaints about the service or atmosphere. The staff were friendly without being intrusive and the garden table in the shade was lovely. The staff came out and put a soft blanket on all the tables in the garden as the sun went down, which I think is a delightful touch and made it feel very cosy.
Always a pleasure to have lunch at George's Meze. Food is exquisite, service friendly and attentive, pleasant ambience. We go there regularly and today the only bit of disappointment was the baklava which looked and tasted like it had passed its best by date, not crunchy but soggy.
Lovely Greek experience. Nice food but the wine list needs improvement. I also think the Greek music (live or recorded) could be louder to add to the atmosphere.
Excellent as always
Enjoyed the night - thanks
Food was excellent as always - service was extremely poor. Dinner for 4 took 2.5 hours as we had to wait over an hour for our meals to be served. After finishing our dinner we had to find a waiter ourselves in order to get our plates cleared and order dessert even though the restaurant was nearly empty apart from us and two other groups.
Great Food, lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Haven’t been back to this restaurant for some time because of COVID-19. Still the same excellent menu and quality! Strongly recommended.
Yet another lovely evening spent at Georges. Been coming here for years. Food is delicious, great service and location. Nice selection of dishes and drinks. A real feeling of being in Greece
The atmosphere and setting are excellent, the service is friendly, attentive and thoughtful and the food was really wonderful. Loved our visit and will return.
The restaurant has a lively vibe but the food was dissappointing. We ordered a meat platter to share. The greek salad portion was the smallest bowl amongst it all. The meatballs were nice, but the lamb skewers and lamb cutlets were tough and undercooked... the chicken skewer was nice , but the chips were cold... we did let them know and they replaced the lamb skewer with the meat balls but that wasnt the idea of ordering a meat platter..
Always a pleasure to visit, delicious food and friendly service in a lovely setting. A favourite with my friends. Convenient, free parking is a bonus too.
Lovely atmosphere and great meal. Can recommend and we will return again.

At Yia Yia’s Table. Sitting in the lush alfresco garden at George’s Meze with the strains of traditional Greek music and trickling water from the waterfall in your ears, and you could be forgiven for thinking you were imposing on a Greek family’s much-loved mealtime tradition. In traditional meze style, the menu here offers a range of sharing plates for large groups including the much-loved saganaki, loukanika, beef keftedes, potato and zucchini balls. More substantial dishes include the slow braised goat in red wine, cherry tomatoes and root vegetables; seafood claypot; or the signature dish of moussaka. If you are having a hard time deciding what to eat, why not select a seafood platter for two or vegetarian platter for two where you can sample some of the best dishes on the menu at George’s? Best dish: Traditional braised goat in red wine, cherry tomatoes and root vegetables.
