Excellent service and food from this ever-reliable restaurant beautifully situated on King St Wharf. The lamb smorgasbord was great value.

Right in the waterfront of darling harbour, this restaurant has great Greek food. The stuffed calamari is very nice so as their Greek style lamb and souvlaki. The drink menu is also great . The price for the food is very reasonable so don't be misguide by its tourist location .

The entree/starter was brought out together with the main course seafood platters which I didn't expect. The food was good but not hot enough.

About Georges Mediterranean Bar & Grill

No ordinary Greek Tavern Don’t be mistaken, Georges Mediterranean Bar & Grill is not just any old Greek Tavern, it’s a swanky but also relaxed bar and restaurant (more formal indoor, but relaxed and chill outside) that’s serving up exceptional Mediterranean fare. Small share dishes (on the mezedes menu) are all the rage at Georges with heroes such as Cyprian haloumi cheese with grilled asparagus and salsa crudo, chargrilled baby octopus with lemon and marjoram and chorizo with apple, lemon, mint and parsley. Get swept away by the relaxed waterside atmosphere (think rocking boats set against the twinkling lights of Darling Harbour) and wash down your meal with a drop or two from the extensive wine and cocktail list - Baklava Martini anyone? Yes please! Oh and just like in Greece, a shot of Ouzo is readily available, and often encouraged by waiters. Go on, be a daring diner when you dine at Georges. Best dish: Cyprian haloumi cheese with grilled asparagus and salsa crudo
