Pate was a pleasant surprise, very generous portion. Pasta was very well cooked. Salmon was not overcooked as well. Did not have their beer, but they had a very impressive selection.

Return customer and once again everything was perfect. Super service. Professional and friendly. The food was divine, fresh, tasty and very well presented. A great value, relaxed restaurant. Spectacular views overlooking the vines.

Great venue with a upbeat atmosphere. Bartenders mix the best cocktails and look like they have fun doing it

There were 4 ladies on a wine tour we enjoyed our lunch on a beautiful sunny day in winter. Shared all courses and a beautiful passion fruit mohito and still only spent $50 a head, would recommend.

We were entertained by fellow patrons at the bar whose behaviour was questionable. It was busy and I had to chase up someone to take our food order as we had waited about 20 minutes. It took another 10 minutes for someone to physically come to take the order. The young girl who took out order was polite. We ordered two cocktails at the bar which arrived prior to our order being taken. We asked for a second bottle of water and it did not arrive so we went to the bar and asked for one there. When we finally received our pizzas they were tossed onto the side of the table and the waitress just kept going. We have been there before and had a great time previously. The food was good and so were the cocktails. The service was not up to standard.

Excellent food and reasonably priced for The Hunter Valley region. We got an unfriendly waitress which soured the experience. But outside of that, definitely worth the visit and I would go back. Sitting outside in the sun is a nice option if there is fair weather. The place gets very busy on a weekend so making a booking is essential.

About Goldfish Hunter Valley

Something a little stronger? Classy lounge bar, meets casual deck dining is just one way to describe Goldfish Bar and Restaurant. Located on one of the Hunter Valley’s most iconic wineries, 'Tempus Two', Goldfish effortlessly blends the elegance and glitter of a city cocktail bar with the simple charm of a Hunter winery. Sink back and enjoy the 1920’s style decor and watch the wait staff working hard behind the sparkling bar... or saunter out on to the al fresco dining space and enjoy a tasty cocktail. These guys are famous for their cocktails, so make sure you try a cheeky mixed drink from the Bartenders Choice menu - our favourite is the ‘Sweet Nothing’: a mix of vodka, triple sec, pineapple juice, elderflower syrup, apple, lime & and raspberry juice with vanilla gomme! And the food? The menu is diverse, crafted by head chef Michael Blank (from the Bathers’ Pavillion and Hugo’s in Manly), and features a collection of rustic Mediterranean cuisine and crusty gourmet pizzas. Even though the Hunter Valley is well known for its wine, Goldfish is the place to go when you fancy something a little stronger! Best Dish: Bangalow pork neck, crackling, apple and vanilla puree, witlof, pickled radish and bordelaise.
