Casual eatery with friendly staff. We commented on the meal and the chef came and explained how the dish was prepared. Lovely. We'd definitely go back.

Mixed bag , pizza amazing , jerk Chicken fabulous, tacos smashing - salmon underdone and tasteless, avo salad undressed , deserts disappointing - overall a good meal though , ended with great affagatos

It was our first time back since dining in July 2017 and it was disappointing to see almost the exact same menu. It was slow to receive drinks (we'd already received 2 of our small plates) but the biggest shame was that there hadn't been any update in the menu.

It’s a pity the ‘what would you consider this best for’ doesn’t have cocktails. Because this bar makes amazing ones. Ben and his team behind the bar do an excellent job. We came here on Sat for my Birthday, and while the food was good, the wait staff service was horrible. Just as we thought our night was ruined, Mitchell one of the mixologist invited us to sit at the bar and have a drink. Suffice to say many many cocktails later we left feeling well entertained and looked after and counting ourselves lucky to have met such an incredible team behind the bar. So experience at the restaurant 2/10. Experience at the bar 10/10.

The food was really tasty but a little bit overpriced. It is probably due to the Hunter Valley location though. We had the espresso martini which tasted very watery - avoid this! The margarita was better. We were seated near the food service area, behind the bar. It was a terrible seat so I asked to be moved. The only other table they had was directly beside this so not much improvement. This ruined the atmosphere for me. The service was friendly, helpful and attentive.

Great place but service was a bit lacking. Water and wine weren’t poured or cared after. Service varied from waitress to waitress .. would recommend all were good and the same

About Goldfish Hunter Valley

Something a little stronger? Classy lounge bar, meets casual deck dining is just one way to describe Goldfish Bar and Restaurant. Located on one of the Hunter Valley’s most iconic wineries, 'Tempus Two', Goldfish effortlessly blends the elegance and glitter of a city cocktail bar with the simple charm of a Hunter winery. Sink back and enjoy the 1920’s style decor and watch the wait staff working hard behind the sparkling bar... or saunter out on to the al fresco dining space and enjoy a tasty cocktail. These guys are famous for their cocktails, so make sure you try a cheeky mixed drink from the Bartenders Choice menu - our favourite is the ‘Sweet Nothing’: a mix of vodka, triple sec, pineapple juice, elderflower syrup, apple, lime & and raspberry juice with vanilla gomme! And the food? The menu is diverse, crafted by head chef Michael Blank (from the Bathers’ Pavillion and Hugo’s in Manly), and features a collection of rustic Mediterranean cuisine and crusty gourmet pizzas. Even though the Hunter Valley is well known for its wine, Goldfish is the place to go when you fancy something a little stronger! Best Dish: Bangalow pork neck, crackling, apple and vanilla puree, witlof, pickled radish and bordelaise.
