A busy place on Sat night @ 6.30pm. Service was slow to start as we had to get the attention of a couple of waiters before our order was taken. There seemed to be a number of staff clearing tables & delivering meals, but not many taking orders. Our food was delicious, hot & tasty. Mango chicken was lovely! Thank you
Nice and authentic indian dishes, very good service but just need more staff in the kitchen and on the floor, the service was a bit slow since there was a full house on saturday night.
We have been here many times and have never been disappointed.. the food was amazing.. very authentic.. especially the Tava Goat.. the service is great and the owner welcomes you with a hug everytime you go.. great bunch of people.. highly recommended..
Tasty Indian dinner we ordered all of the special menu items. Mango lassi delicious. Very popular restaurant as it was a full house on a Sunday evening in spite of torrential rain. Only criticism is that more wait was staff needed as there was one main waitress run off her feet and was difficult to get service sometimes.
It is a small and local gem! The dishes are fabulous and very tasty, the mango chicken and chilli cheese naan were my favourites. Service was very good with lots of warmth and smiles. This place will become one of our regulars!
We really enjoyed our meal at Grace. I had no idea such a good option was available so close to public transport. The service was good the food mostly delicious (I didn’t care for the Beef Vindaloo.) and we will certainly be back
Great food.. reasonably price and friendly staffs
A very warm welcome, plus excellent food and service, as always . Took the family there for my birthday and the whole restaurant sang happy birthday. I felt very spoilt indeed.
Good Indian food, spicy and tasteful. However, everything came out at once, entrees and mains, and we felt rushed to finish our meal. Tables were too close together leaving very little room to move our chairs. A good meal is not just about the food, it's also about comfort and the ability to relax. This is where our meal last night fell short.
A different indian food experience, the Portuguese Goan menu was excellent.
The food at grace of india was good- we had vegie samosas, mango chicken, potato and pea curry and garlic and cheese naan. Felt a bit rushed by staff who frequently came to ask if we were done with our food.
Curries were good - we had lamb madras and paleek paneer, nothing overly outstanding, but still delicious. Garlic cheese naan bread was also good, although a bit small compared to other Indian restaurants that we frequent.
Thoroughly enjoyed it
Look forward to a return visit
Beautiful food and wonderful service. The best Indian cuisine around.
Great tasty food, super friendly service, very good price and fantastic location. Maybe just don’t fill AESOP containers with cheap unbranded soap.
Delicious food! The service staff were helpful and friendly, providing recommendations when asked. Would definitely go back - spicy here, is truly spicy!
We had a great dinner. Staff service was good and food was amazing. Would definitely return and highly recommend.
I recommend the malai kofta!
16 Ennis Road, 2061, Milsons Point, Australia
Regular punters rave about the food and the service at Grace of India, a Milsons Point stalwart that has been around since 1990. Family-owned and run, head chef Santokh Singh prides himself on using only freshest local produce with herbs and spices imported direct from India enlivening the traditional fare with the authentic aromas and flavours of Northern Indian cuisine. The menu is broken down into sections including ‘From the Tandoor’ (featuring chicken marinated in spices, ginger and garlic), ‘From the Meadows’ (Goa beef) and ‘From the Garden’ with plenty of vegetarian options including malai kofta, palak paneer and a potato and pea curry. The restaurant does a roaring takeaway trade (Milsons Point is one of the most densely-populated suburbs of Sydney but to truly enjoy the friendly service and traditional wall hangings we recommend sitting down to eat. Best dish: Fish Tikka (fish fillet marinated overnight and cooked in the Tandoor)
