Fabulous
Food was authentic as always! Due to recent COVID cases, I specifially requested for outdoor dining. Upon arrival, I was advised that the outdoor section wasn't opened that day. Would've been good if this was communicated earlier and I would've changed my plans. Our server was excellent and attentive - she did get a few orders wrong but it was OK.
Can't fault the food. It was really good. You would have to ask for serviettes as they are not readily available in your table. They do however, have cloth napkins, the ones you put in your lap. Seeing that I booked for first service, meaning 12:00 lunch, I didn't like where they put us. We were next to like this nook where they keep their utensils and the like. I felt cramped. There were heaps of tables still available. But as I said, food was great and service probably 7/10.
Best Pizza I have ever had. Better than Naples.
Great family lunch environment. Not too loud. Nice table by the kitchen. They know how to make a negroni and the wine list suits the restaurant. Recommended.
Tartufata pizza is highly recommended!
Wasn't happy that i still had to wait 20min for the table that i booked in advance and the walkin got first priority instead of the customer that actually booked the table in advance. I've ordered the Spaghettini Al Granchi it tasted okay, little disapointed there wasn't much Crab meat and Lobster Bisque throught it couldn't really taste it. I also ordered the Bufalina Pizze, the pizze was quite cold the Buffalo Mozzarella wasn't even melted which a disapointment. Would i be going back, properly not
Food was great, a little bit overpriced for what it was but it was enjoyable for a good night out. One of the waiters was really pushy though and didn’t really leave us alone. Was disappointed with her service but overall it was okay.
The food was great the service was a bit slow had to remind them that we ordered coffees luckily the hostess was all over it and kicked them up the arse.
Good food and atmosphere. Friendly, positive environment. Waiter could have helped reduce the amount of food ordered (first time customer) eg portion size information. Food wastage was the result. Overall good experience.
Loved the atmosphere and decor of this restaurant. Great position with views of river.
The service was great and the food was delicious as always!
Seated at a table next to the checkin despite booking 5 weeks ahead. Girls who hadn't booked got a better table as they were flirting with the maitre di and doing 'pinky handshakes'. Cringworthly all round. When seated had a to grab someone every 20 minutes. first for wine... then drag someone over to order food..... at then end drag someone ove to be able leave and pay...
Great food, waiters was terrible, it took ages to get a bottle of water for the table and then after mains we never got offered desserts, we waited and waited and tried to get the waiters attention but ended up leaving instead.
Delicious pastas and vibrant yet trendy atmosphere, great for all types of diners. The virgin mojito was yum too!
Pizza always delicious. They had some special menu which is good to try. I enjoyed the dining experience and would return.
Food is great, and huge, but drinks service virtually non-existant
Overpriced for quality of food served
Fabulous Tagliata and Nutella Calzone
This is one of my favorite places to eat that has beautiful food and is family friendly. The Pizza with The hot chili oil was so good. I would like to back again :)
Great pizzas and pasta with Italian wines

World class Italian
After taking out the World’s Best Pizza Championships, Johnny Di Francesco’s 400 Gradi business was elevated to new heights. Now the Brunswick boy has reopened in the impressive Crown complex where he has created a comfortable trattoria style space jazzed up with touches of marble, a large open kitchen and deli, and sophisticated service. The menu still retains traditional Neapolitan style pizzas as well as antipasti, pastas, risottos, meaty mains and fresh seafood - but in our opinion the world famous Margherita pizza is the way to go. Get your Italian fixe at Gradi, Crown - it’s world class.
Best dish: Margherita pizza.
