Twenty years on, and still going strong Cheap, accessible and an all round good time, GurTaj Indian is always a good idea. This bad boy has been around since 1996 and has established a loyal local following. Serving fine northern Indian cuisine, these guys take pride in serving the freshest food using authentic herbs and spices. If you’re a curry fiend try the prawn malabar (it’s just divine) or maybe spice things up with a madras or vindaloo. Their mixed platter is one of our favourites and features chunky chicken tikka, plump samosas and more. With it’s excellent menu and warm and welcoming vibes, it’s no wonder that this venue is a local favourite. Best dish: mixed platter.
