Food was average, I was disappointed, a few of us had the special which was roast lamb, very small serve and the lamb was tough. I had the pie with mash and peas, pastry was hard and I got about 6 peas and the mash was very solid. They never came to take the plates away and we had to ask for the dessert to be served, very poor service and they were not busy at all

Stopped in for dinner and had a great meal. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu offering great recommendations. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. The dishes were delicious!!

We ordered 4 meals 3 out 4 was terrible, I ordered medium rare rump steak, which ended up being well done, cold and burnt on the ends, which came with fries and salad, the fries were cold too, Two others ordered graziers Slow cooked beef pie, the mashed potato was, dry, cold, salty and very lumpy. I did ask for the gravy to be put on the side for both orders, that wasn't how it was presented it was over flowing with gravy.

We had a great night with service and food spot on. Food was perfect and we relayed this to the chef. Service was friendly and swift. Our group had an enjoyable night and left full and happy. Thank you Sara and the rest of the staff that made this possible.

The waitress- taking food orders(Je) at lunch time was very unfriendly I’ve never seen her before, and wasn’t impressed with her lack of customer service I love the halfway because of the friendly staff But I was so disappointed in her attitude and total dislike of her job and duties Showed no Interest - no smiles - no character at all. Left us with dirty dishes in front of us well beyond an hour after we finished eating. It was not busy - very disgusted in her lack of service. I come every week at least once, and brought 2 new friends today, and they were not impressed with her performance at all The food was good. More Sarah’s required- she’s an amazing advocate for your friendly hospitality Which sadly lacked big time today

Absolutely amazing! The pub is beautiful and staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. It’s definitely not like other expensive pub's and you only get a small amount of food. I am definitely going back.

A great night here at the Halfway. Kids entertained in the playground,colouring in things to do and cheap feed. This made the night so more enjoyable them being entertained. Food was great, Rib Eye a little expensive for pub meal but cooked ok. Fillet Mignon the same. Two snitzels were good value. Overall. Very good. Will be back. ????????

Staff were welcoming, table was available on time. Disappointing no specific lunch menu. Order process quick and easy and table service good with meal presented quickly. Meal of good quality, nil issues. Overall, would return but need a specific lunch menu again with cheaper not main menu options.

slow to get food delivered, too many noisy kids allowed to run around the dining room, butter chicken was luke warm, sausages with mash were hard and overcooked. all round spoiled our night there even though we have been several times before

I like going to this place because it isn't as noisy as other dining areas. Unfortunately the Chicken Caesar salad was very underwhelming. The chicken was poached (the menu stated grilled herbed crusted) and cold and the dressing was mayonnaise out of a squeeze bottle. Not a crouton in sight either. The coffee was like dishwashing water. Very week. The service was ok but a large lineup with only one person taking the orders.

Best beef and bacon burgers in the Western Suburbs ????. Great service, although management needs to communicate better with other staff. There was a bit of confusion to do with the Fork app. All in all, it was still worth dining there. My sister had the beef schnitzel. It was huge. Well worth the money. Kudos to the chef! We left feeling very satisfied ????

The waitress/bartender was rude, as we all thanked her several times for bringing us our meals and got no acknowledgement. The meals were average at best for the price charged. The establishment has definitely taken a decline since the last time we were there.

Great place for a meal and drink or two. Dining area looks a little dated. Would be great if there was a band playing or music of some sort. The lovely guy at the counter with the moustache was fantastic, amazing customer service and our meals came out incredibly fast. One thing I would recommend changing is the side salad I believe it was a coleslaw. It had a very strange flavour to itS I would prefer a leafy green salad with feta, olive and tomato with a vinaigrette.
