Great cosy atmosphere, and absolutely delicious menu. Meals were on the smaller side, but the flavours more than made up for this. Volcano cocktails are a must have.

The chief should be extremely proud of his efforts. The food was exceptional. We tried 5 different dishes and the two deserts. Each of them flawless. Given the have only been around for 4 weeks, you could potentially overlook the slow and confused service - but for the prices they are charging - NO. I waited 17 minutes for a cocktail. The restaurant and bar had 8 people in it on 6:30pm on a Tuesday. I was asked twice if I'd like to order - to which I advised I was already waiting. They would walk off and not come back? The had issues trying to seat us, we had to wave them down to ask for the forgotten drinks menu and refills and they asked us to pay twice. A couple were seated next to us, they however walked out after an extended wait for menus/attention. They were super friendly and professional, but not on their game that night.

We love Hana - the vibe was super cool! It's a really great place to get a drink and seriously fresh and delicious seafood. We love it and it reminded us of Hawaii, one of our favourite holiday destinations. Unfortunately, despite spending $100 on food alone, we left hungry and went across the road for more food. Why would you crumb a perfectly good pork leg?!? And not mention that it's crumbed on the menu? As a coeliac, we wished we had've known this before coming (we probably would've just come for a drink and snack) because we then couldn't eat it.

Hana is a great venue as this was our first time we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The Dimmi booking system was extremely easy to use.

About Hana Bar

The road to Hana is paved with tiki-licious dishes. Named after Maui’s famously picturesque Hana Highway, Hana is nestled on Little Collins St in Melbourne’s CBD. With palm frond murals, hints of lush greenery and a dash of neon light signage to keep it cool, Hana specialises in what Hawaii does best - fresh, raw seafood and cocktails. If you’re planning to visit for lunch, we love the poke salads - a moreish concoction of raw fish, rice and other toppings. For dinner, the plates are designed to be shared, with winning dishes such as snapper ceviche with kumquat and tigers milk and more substantial main meals like the grilled lobster with carrot, cardamom puree and pickled shitake mushrooms.
