Dress the staff in Tommy Bahama outfits, send them to Waikiki to get an appreciation of poke and Kona beer and give a little Aloha and Mahalo and you will be on a winner. Great food, great staff.

Amazing service. Great and really fun atmosphere. The menu is quite light but really delicious. It's a very small restaurant but they've done a great job with the space 👌

Amazing fresh food and great venue. Loved the cocktails as well! Although not great portion sizes however it is a must to visit!

The fried rice was delayed and didnt arrive until 20 minutes after our last share platter. Poor organisation given it was only fried rice. It was given to us complimentary which was very good of them.

Enjoyed the experience. Never eaten Hawaiian before. Seafood was great, pork shank very large. Wait staff were new but helpful. Fairly cramped but good fun and nice atmosphere. The double entendres were amusing

The picked crab was delicious and well balanced. We had the pork hock which was huge and came with a large variety to sides. Service was attentive

Melt in your mouth seafood with a fresh twist! Highly recommend the tapioca crisps and poke, the snapper ceviche, the croquettes and lime cheesecake! I can't wait to return to try everything else on the menu. Menu could do with a bit of work, perhaps further clarification of what is vegetarian etc. We ordered a croquette for each in our group because the description appeared vego, when they arrived they were fish based so the vego in our group couldn't eat it.

Fantastic cocktails! Really fun cocktail and drinks list, definitely one for a special occasion. Loved the seafood dominant menu but this can be troublesome for some people. There is only a few options for non seafood eaters so definitely keep this in mind. Otherwise great service, very attentive. Small and intimate dining experience.

About Hana Bar

The road to Hana is paved with tiki-licious dishes. Named after Maui’s famously picturesque Hana Highway, Hana is nestled on Little Collins St in Melbourne’s CBD. With palm frond murals, hints of lush greenery and a dash of neon light signage to keep it cool, Hana specialises in what Hawaii does best - fresh, raw seafood and cocktails. If you’re planning to visit for lunch, we love the poke salads - a moreish concoction of raw fish, rice and other toppings. For dinner, the plates are designed to be shared, with winning dishes such as snapper ceviche with kumquat and tigers milk and more substantial main meals like the grilled lobster with carrot, cardamom puree and pickled shitake mushrooms. The atmosphere is electric, the food flavoursome and fresh. Visit Hana for a slice of Hawaiian paradise! Best dish: Tuna with watermelon, coconut and lime.
