The food is fusion. Definitely NOT authentic or tradition. I love going to this restaurant through The Fork app and getting 30% off the bill

Very special thanks for Art-san for being such a great host during my lunch today. My 2nd visit to your restaurant. Also thank you to the chefs for all the great food, way too much for my liking but it was all good. I complained to TheFork people that I want to use $20 instead of $50 at places like yours. Fine food, but the prices are the complete opposite of fine dining. I don't like overeating to begin with, but it also makes me feel like a real cheapskate taking advantage of a restaurant like your own. I love Japan, the people, manga, anime and cosplaying, makes me feel bad/guilty getting so much and giving so little in return. Only just made double digits at the end of the day, you would have at least gotten double what I paid in the end if I had the $20 option. Anyway thank you all very much again, I will definitely visit another time.

The service was great and the general vibe of a place busy even on a Wednesday night was good. Sadly, the food was of very average quality and all of it, including the Miso soup and the green tea, was barely lukewarm and served in plastic little cups... Both of us could not eat or drink what was put in front of us... Very sad...

Small wait upon arriving even though we booked, food was great and came out fast. Service was friendly and lot of atmosphere with the sake shots. Definitely recommend cheeseburger goyza and footlong fries.

About the restaurant

If you hadn’t already guessed by the name - Harajuku Gyoza is OTT. Here at this wacky Japanese eatery in South Bank, filled with kitch and cuteness, they’re serving up premium gyoza (Japanese style dumplings). Sit up at the counter and watch the chefs labour with love over your gyoza before stuffing your face with those little bite-size rounds of goodness. Make sure you save room for the dessert gyoza - a tiny banana and Nutella crepe that is fried and served with ice cream. For the full experience make sure you try some of the many Japanese beers that are on offer. If you're after a fun, crazy, memorable night then this is the place.

Best dish: gyoza, gyoza and more gyoza.
