Food was ok. Pub grub variety. Burger was very big looked impressive but hard to eat without deconstruction. Massive space to negotiate. No atmosphere.
Harrigan's never ever disappoints. Great value for money, fantastic atmosphere and service. Very clean and always impeccably presented. Great entertainment. The food is amazing, full of flavour, highly recommend the Guinness Pot Pie or the Sirloin, we've never been disappointed.
Great way to spend a Sunday night.... was booked in at 7.30, table on the outdoor deck.... steak for me, lamb shanks for hubby....absolutely no complaints... good size meals, fair prices.... stayed at the Hotel accommodation so was very convenient... will definitely visit again....
The food was good the service was efficient and the setting was very pleasant. We enjoyed the whole experience at Harrigans. We can recommend harrigans both for food and accommodation
Staff were good and welcoming but food very limited in choices I stuck to salad as safe And it was ok but my friends sausages were awful! How can you ruin a sausage? By making them full of gristle!!!
The food was amazing we couldn’t fault it in any way! But! We had only just started our entree when our mains came out and were left on the table. So we had to stop the entree and start the meal.We were celebrating my daughters birthday. We don’t often see each other and it was a special mother and daughter time but we felt so so rushed! Not relaxing at all!
We were staying at Harrigan's Irish Pub as we intended to visit Huinter Valley Gardens. This was the first night of the stay and we were given a very nice table and a very enjoyable meal. The Service was very speedy and the meal stayed warm right to the end. We also enjoyed the dessert.
We arrived for the first sitting at 515 but when we received the meal it was warm not hot. I ordered pie and the mash znd veg was warm. Hubby ordered fish n chips znd his chips were cold. Not the best meal and don't think I would go back.
Food came out quickly and generous portions. Disappointed as when I booked I rung up the following day to confirm that we had an outdoor/terrace booking however instead were put in the breakfast room which was dark had no atmosphere or ambience. So please triple check this as overal an early Father’s Day lunch was disappointing
Lovely place and atmosphere good pub food but the service was too quick. I order at the bar and before I sat down the starter had arrived at the table then less then five minutes later while still eating starters the mains arrived!
Just perfect, service excellent, food once ordered almost immediately arrived. Garlics Bread lovely & hot on arrival, fish & chips beautiful presented and was so yummy.
Food was good. It came out really quick. To quick in fact that I didn’t have time to even get to the bar for a drink! Overall wasn’t bad, but felt as if we were rushed and having to go to to seperate line to order food then drinks was inconvenient
Check in was professional and everyone was taken care of prompty. Plenty of staff to make sure you were looked after. Social distancing measures were in place and staff were fantastic. All wearing masks and making sure they were following protocols. Everyone was well spaced apart throughout the venue and the food arrived really fast and hot.
Clean and comfortable with delicious food.
Great atmosphere, fast and friendly service.
Great decor and service.
Great hearty pub fare in a relaxed open atmosphere. Exactly what I needed after a day of drinking wine. Staff are very careful about covid precautions.
Food and service was excellent and the sticky date pudding was possibly the best we have ever had. Unpretentious and relaxed atmosphere.Highly recommend eating here
The food was good and reasonably pricedw. The staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. The pub is modern with lovely atmosphere and cosy with a fire place.
Great atmosphere and also very nice staff they were also very conscious of social distancing and maintaining a clean and safe atmosphere - a good one to visit while in the Hunter Valley

May the luck of the Irish be with you
When you enter Harrigan's Irish pub, other than the open fireplace, you will notice the traditional wrought iron work, stone walls, gleaming wood and authentic Irish decor.
Famous for its beef and guinness pot pie and daily specials that go quickly, once you’ve enjoyed a meal here you will understand why Harrigans has won best country bistro award. Sit outside and overlook the vineyards as your children play amongst the grass hills.
