Great food, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Service was quite fast and staff assisted with all requests including assistance with birthday cake and best area for group photo. Recommend for anyone wanting to celebrate a special occasion or just a catch-up with friends.
Such a great spot! Great food, service and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and would definitely go back. A nice laid-back pub option in the Hunter Valley.
Service was absolutely lightning
The staff we’re lovely and accommodating , was easy to book a table online , was very glad that the table was inside as it was over 40deg outside . The food was good . Great experience
The meal ordered by 2 persons in our party had to return the meal. It was inedible. The staff were helpful and replaced the meal. It was a very hot evening and we were placed outside, fans would have been a benefit.
We loved our meal at Harrigan's Irish Pub. The food was lovely, the atmosphere great and the staff very accommodating.
Have been here more than once and have always enjoyed the place.
Great place for pub food
Great atmosphere, ordering easy, not a long wait for food. All 4 dishes presented well and all enjoyed, very tasty. Nice cold beer from the tap. Not overly crowded, plenty of available seating even though we booked
Walked in to a swearing employee who pushed his away through my husband and I. Menu has poor choices. Ordered a schnitzel that was heavy crumbed and tasted like fish. Ordered dessert and was told it’s unavailable. Got a sundae - 3 ice cream scoops
Service was good and looks good but don’t like the new menu. They don’t have the lamb shanks anymore and we used to go a lot as my husband loved their steak sandwich but it’s still on the menu but the time before last he was so looking forward to one and they changed it and wasn’t that nice, it is fancier now but not as nice and no onion and a steak sandwich should have onion or it’s not a steak sandwich but at least we got our meal this time and there wasn’t a long wait but unless they change the menu we won’t be back
Pasta was horrid , duck was dry , pie was tasteless beef and ribs were beautiful they were tender and easy to eat, other three meals were not up to standard
Amazing atmosphere and great food. We were lucky to be here whilst some live music was playing. A good range of food on the menu. We were glad to have been given an outside seating as the inside air conditioning was a little on the cool side - which I guess some people would prefer
Excellent presentation, clean and friendly staff, great evening atmosphere. Accommodation needs updating, proper cleaning needed as dust and cobwebs were visible, internal door handles loose.
Good pub food in the middle of wine country.
Great service and food!
Meals are pricey!
Great for our group, although didn't like the security guard making general assumptions about our group when we were there simply for lunch.
Myself and 5 of my friends came to Harrigan's as we heard it was the place to be on a Saturday night. And it definitely was. It was very busy so we were glad we booked. Food was average. My friends and I ordered the 2 x duck, 2x texas plate, chicken schnitzel and pasta. We really liked the duck. The other dishes were pretty average. After dinner, we went to see the live band perform outside. They were really entertaining and everyone was up and dancing. It really was the place to be on a Saturday night!
Refurbishment looks great, drinks are expensive. Really disappointed in the Guinness Pie someone had been very heavy handed with the pepper. Also had quite large mushrooms in it which meant less meat. They have previously been much nicer

May the luck of the Irish be with you
When you enter Harrigan's Irish pub, other than the open fireplace, you will notice the traditional wrought iron work, stone walls, gleaming wood and authentic Irish decor.
Famous for its beef and guinness pot pie and daily specials that go quickly, once you’ve enjoyed a meal here you will understand why Harrigans has won best country bistro award. Sit outside and overlook the vineyards as your children play amongst the grass hills.
