The drinks being unlimited is good. I hope for next time, that we would get seats closer to food, and have scallops included for dinner as well

When I read that the Harvest Buffet is “Sydney’s Premier Buffet” I guess I expected it to be a touch classier than it is. It feels like a food court. The oysters were super fresh but littered with crushed shell throughout. If you want a mountain of crab, prawns and bugs, this is your buffet. The desert bar was great. I guess I just expected more. Far from the best buffet around. The food was good, the family had fun but the wine and was overpriced and the tables and chairs were tres tacky - it absolutely felt like a food court. I won’t go back.

Food was average and selection was limited for a buffet. However, I really enjoyed the seafood section and they had oysters, prawns and crab in offer. And their selection of desserts was tasty! Service was great - there were workers constantly walking around and clearing plates. However, they cleared our table early (and we still had 30mins remaining) as we had all stood up to grab another plate. They did quickly rectify this, and moved us to another table, but I wonder what would have happened if it were much busier.

The freshness and quality of the seafood available (oysters, prawns and crabs) were pretty good for buffet standards, and was constantly topped up. Other foods were also generally delicious. However, I'm not too sure whether the hefty $78 price tag is worth it. It's great to see the open kitchen and seeing the chefs make all the foods in front of you - all the dishes are continually being made and topped up. Really want to commend on how friendly most of the chefs are too!

About Harvest Buffet

Harvest Buffet is a feast for the senses. On weekends seafood becomes the star of the show, with the freshest sushi, oysters, prawns, crabs and mussels complementing roasts from the carvery, pizza, pasta, curries, soups and salads. Of course, you could go straight for the decadent dessert bar which includes three chocolate fountains. Because one is never enough at Harvest.
