Nice place the food is good and the staff is thoughtful. The experience was good and hope to do it again. I wish the menu was shorter to make it simpler.

Excellent food and service. Huge portions too - good thing that they give you a 'doggy bag' so you can take your leftovers should you wish. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Excellent food. Friendly service. I actually ordered the wrong meal. (Kashmir instead of Karahi) - it was still lovely. Embarrassingly cheap after booking through the The Fork.

Plenty of choice on the menu and prices are reasonable. Staff very attentive and pleasant. Food that we choose was good and portions were ample; we ordered too much. The ambiance could be better but all in all a lovely experience.

My wife and I love Indian food, but never eat it when we are on holiday preferring to eat 'local' cuisine. However we fancied something different and so glad we choose this restaurant. Very enjoyable meal. The owner / manager explained different dishes and how we could have them (mild, spicy etc.) Everything we ate was excellent, with great service. Prices were good considering what we had, although with the Fork discount is was very cheap. We would definitely recommend. Give it a go!

Our first visit but it will definitely not be our last. Himalya offers a wide choice of dishes and, if our choice is any guide, all are authentic. The subtle use of spices made each dish an adventure in its own right. It was a refreshing change to be offered a choice of delicious home-made deserts. Thank you Kamal for creating an enjoyable experience for us.

This is a hidden gem and worth looking for. It is hidden away but now discovered we will most definitely be back. A huge choice of delicious dishes. Not just obvious Indian dishes but others we can't wait to try. Thank you for a lovely evening. Great and friendly service!

Yes! It was the best Madeirese restaurant! The meals was absolutely amazing, we think that was unique experience and possibility to enjoy Asian food on island. We really glad the fortune to be here and come back !

Nice flavours excellent service

The Food and service was excellent, the portions were just right. Taste was delicious. The only let down is the position, tucked away a bit. We sat outside.
