It was a nice crispy duck but we’ve had nicer. Was slightly on the dry side. We still enjoyed it However the only thing that let them night down was The service is very slow and took at least 20 minutes before they came and took our order, which we had to flag them down and then midway through coming to us she went and served someone else.
Very enjoyable in all aspects. Would recommend and will revisit.
We were served the best roast duck with mini pancakes! Absolutely loved the food at Holy Duck. Reasonable price for quality food.
This wasn’t my first visit to Holy Duck, & hopefully won’t be my last. The food is always reliable here, & the service generally good. Social distancing isn’t a problem, since tables are set well apart. Our only complaint this time was that the loo (shared with another restaurant) wasn’t too clean!
The crispy duck was amazing!
The duck, pork and everything else here is epic. I love that this is a nice place to eat whilst not being pretentious or overpriced - being able to BYO is great. The service is very friendly and it’s and enjoyable, casual atmosphere.
Pleasant atmosphere; food service isn't instantaneous suggesting dishes aren't overly pre-prepared.
Always a good crispy duck...
Boneless duck the way to go but not loads of it more quality than quantity. Nice pre cocktail special.
The food is really good here as was the service. We were a large group but were very well looked after and we ordered off the menu, no banquet. The servings are a good size and are delicious. Really enjoyed it.
The best duck in Sydney.
The food was disappointing especially the crispy duck and the seafood noodles. The crispy duck was very hard and dry on the outside (akin to bark) and the inside of the duck was stringy. It lacked flavour and juice. The flavouring of the noodles had a strange slightly-off taste. The decor of the restaurant was nice and the service was okay. However, based on the food I would never go back.
Food & staff fabulous only complaint is restaurant is noisy due to open plan & concrete floors make it hard to have intermittent dinner & conversation
What a pleasant lunch! All our dishes were delicious, though special mention must be made of the spinach tofu. Doesn’t sound too exciting does it, but we all agreed this unusual dish was the star. The crispy duck was as good as ever (my 5th visit, & I always order it!), the steamed greens too, and the Holy Drink cocktails (tho overpriced in my opinion) were perfect on a hot day.
Great place to go with friends. Holy duck is consistently good and never disappoints
Excellent food. Love their Duck specialities. Start the evening off with gin cocktails next door at Gin Lane then continue on to Holy Duck! A great evening.
Wonderful cocktails, food and service. The signature crispy duck was just so good. Will definitely go back.
