House Jazz

Once again, we missed out on the jazz entertainment. Must visit on a Saturday next time!

A lovely little restaurant with a great ambience. The food and service were excellent and the waiter very friendly and obliging.

Resteraunt is very good and jazz music from guitar, violin and Alex the singing chef is excellent meaning we keep going back. Excellent value for money.

Amazing food great host fabulous live jazz

We were a little ignored at first. People who came in after us were served before us. However, we were glad we stayed as we had a fantastic evening. The staff were really friendly, the food was delicious and the music was unbelievable. Robin on guitar was as good as Mark Knopfler. and his duet with Andre on violin doing Bohemian Rhapsody brought the house down.

Small and quiet

It was good the first time that we went a second time and enjoyed everything about it.

Outstanding restaurant and excellent staff. Prawns superb starter and whole meal as good as any on Madeira. Great music on Wednesday night so will definitely return for Saturday.

Great experience from booking through to the meal and entertainment. Staff were first class and orchestrated the whole evening perfectly. A very enjoyable night would highly recommend.

I tried to submit a review here earlier, but it appears I used too many words and couldn’t submit a in-depth review .So here it is in a summary.Outstanding entertainment, with a remarkable violinist playing jazz and requests, and classical music which his his forte . Simple dishes incredibly put together superbly ( using quality ingredients) a special mention to the chef . The apple crumble with ice cream which can not be surpassed . I asked if it was home made .. yes it is ! I’ve been to the best/ expensive restaurants In The world , none of which could beat this ... deconstructed or however presented .( humble rhubarb/apple pie is one of my favourites ) however . Thank you House Jazz Restaurant..what value

The restaurant was great it was, I reckon, the best of Saturday nights. Staff were friendly but the highlight for me was Robin Hird not only an excellent guitarist but an all round good bloke to boot, I may have to get up & sing with him if I go again !!!

Fabulous staff, fabulous live music and tasty food

Amazing restaurant I really can’t convey how good this place is !!! The waiting staff are fantastic the waiter has the most infectious genuine smile ! The food was fantastic nothing was a problem and everything was excellent! Then there was the entertainment wow we were both blown away from the singing chef to the superb violinist and the exceedingly talented Robin Hird the blues and jazz guitarist!! Our night was truly fantastic ! It was worth the cost of our holiday thank you so much House Jazz !

The waiter who served us tonight was excellent. No pushy up selling just genuine help and good service. He is a credit to this establishment. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone
