Food was amazing. Service very friendly and ambiance was great. One of my favourite restaurants in Melb. It would be great if they have branch in the city. I’m sure it would do very well with local and tourists

Great restaurant in the Eastern burbs. Platters are great value, missed out on the winter platter and had to settle for the summer menu. We were seated in the private room, which was fantastic. Would definitely go back in winter for the viking feast.

Having dined at H&B many times at both Ringwood and Darling Harbour, they have never disappointed. Can always take guests with confidence of a good experience

Hunter & Barrell became one of our favourites on our first visit, and hasn't let us down at all yet (third time's the charm). The feast shared meals are a great option, the steaks we had last time were perfectly prepared, but the smoked and barrel-aged drinks truly set H&B apart from other, similar steak options in the area. A sharp interior and solid service round out why this is a top choice for us in the Eastern Suburbs.

Always impress with the quality of meat and delicious meals served. Not to mention, service is flawless! Looking forward to the next visit again.

This was our first time at H&B and it will not be our last, the food was absolutely incredible and the overall atmosphere of the place was amazing. 10/10 from me!

Restuarant fitout in style with theme and, generally presented well. Didn't like the upstairs table or layout though. Food was OK without being great. Whilst the staff were friendly, service was poor and we were not the only ones that had meals delivered at separate times and, had to chase.

Great menu! Impressive detail on the allergy focused menu, too.

Love the circular booths. The skewer chicken never fails! Very happy staff even when they are running up and down the stairs. Great loyalty program

We had really lovely dinner but the service wasn’t great. We were never even offered dessert/coffees with our bill just being placed on our table straight after our meal. We will be back as we love the restaurant but the service was really not up to the usual standard last night.

The Little Hunters meals are very small so decided to choose an entree and a side instead for 9yo. We assumed the Hunters mash was potato, but it was an orange combination of various root vegetables. Perhaps an explanation of the sides would have been helpful.

This was the second time I've been to Hunter & Barrel. I was so impressed the first time I booked in for my birthday! All the staff are lovely and just the right amount of attentive. Food & drinks was amazing! Thank you :)

The food at Hunter and Barrel is consistently good. The service however is average of late, not very friendly or attentive.

Great food as usual. The steak and sausage was particularly good. We shared a couple of dishes and were very full by the end of it!

Fantastic food! Really enjoyed the platter for two, full of meats and the salad was deliciously dressed. Could not fault the meal. Service was even better than the meal so what a great night out we had. My partner and I dined out for his birthday. Even though there were 2 large parties there, we did not have any difficulty talking to each other and we had a romantic dinner. Perfect night out! Would return again in a heartbeat!
