Perfect food!

A fabulous dining experience in Madeira. The chef prepares delicious meals using fresh, quality ingredients. Service is a perfect match. A must visit restaurant if you are after quality cuisine.

Absolutely faultless in every respect, the restaurant decor, ambience, the food was first class, as was the staff, helpful and pleasant without being too formal. Our special thanks go to Miguel who was a pleasure, he should have a pay rise, he is both charming and efficient. Fabulous night. Thanks

Lovely luxurious atmosphere, which got livelier around 9pm. Food was prompt and absolutely delicious. We had the vegetable and mushroom risotto and fried octopus.

We love the restaurant. Both food, atmosphere and service is always at top, but last night it was just too busy. I had to ask for ice cubes for my water several times, and when it came the waiter dropped ice in my wine before I could stop him. When we were ready for the dessert and asked for the menu to choose from, no one had the time, so after waiting 15min we found the menu at the internet and succeeded to catch a waiter to order. Learning by this we asked for the bill when the dessert arrived, but again had difficulties to get a waiter to receive the money. Small problems, still the best restaurant in Funchal. But Thursday were to busy.

Excelente service and food. Warm welcoming atmosphere and good attention to details. Good confection, presentation and carefully choice of wines.

The service is exceptional, the ambience is memorable and the food is delicious and imaginative. I will definitely return. The fixe price dinner is a great value.

Ble sterkt anbefalt av hovmester en 3-retters 'pakke' inkl 3 typer vin til 37 euro per pers. Vi kunne bestille fritt fra menyen, forrett, hovedrett og dessert. Det vi IKKE ble orienter om var at ved valg av denne menyen (pakken), gjaldt ikke 50% via Thefork. Det ble bestilt kamskjell og laks til forrett. Kylling med parmaskinke og rød peppersaus, and og tunfisk (hovedrett) Tiramisu, div. frukt og is (dessert) Alt var til 'normalt' god kvalitet og smak. Ett glass hvitvin, rødvin og dessertvin per pers.

Second time this holiday and would return again. Excellent food and lovely surroundings
