IN Diferente

After a long walk along the beach of Foz we went to IN Diferente for a small lunch. The three-course-menu and the wine (a la carte) were acceptable. The price was the lowest ever payed in my life! How can a restaurant survive with such a price.

The food was excellent, the best octopus dish I have ever eaten. Three of us had different dishes, all of which were very tasty, well presented, and much enjoyed. The wine recommendation was just right for the food. The waiter was very helpful, knowledgeable and answered our questions with enthusiasm and care. The chef’s passion for Portugese food is given expression in well prepared, presented, and enjoyable dishes. It is a restaurant to be experienced and enjoyed.

A very professional and gentle service. Excellent lunch 3 courses, coffee included for 12€ It was really well cooked by the chef, a young brasilean woman mastering the taste and the cooking of excellent products (main course was for my wife a bacalhau à bras fresh and savoury and for me, black pork meat with a risotto of asparagus). Absolutely delicious. With a very fresh Alvarinho served at the right temperature, a fresh dessert and a bottle of sparkling water, we only paid 54€ for both of us. Enjoyed a delicious meal with friendly waiter service during Restaurant week. I thoroughly recommend the melt in the mouth duck.

The food was just great. Made our New Year's Eve evening. Huge thank you to the chef. From the first bite till the desert everything was amazing. There can be some work done on the service and the way the evening was handlend, but taking in consideration that this restaurant is new the atmosphere was fabulous

Amazing restaurant. The food was incredible, we had this Romeo and Juliet dessert that has been the best guava dessert we've tried. The octopus entrance was smooth and full of flavor. And last but not least, the service and the kindness of the staff was wonderful.

Modern setting, welcoming, good background music, good service and good food made for a gret business lunch. Will try for dinner soon.
